She's Kicking Me

My baby is kicking me lol. I ate sweet yam and drank Yakult; after few minutes she started fluttering inside mommy’s tummy. I noticed that she moves every time I eat something sweet and cold. Also, she is active from late afternoon til’ late in the evening. “baby, are you okay?” I asked. And she flapped again hahaha. I think she recognizes my voice. Sometimes, I cannot wait to see her. Few more months to go.

Did you experience the same when you were preggo , fellow PP mommies ?

Whenever my baby girl moves, I am overwhelmed with inexplicable joy. It’s beyond imaginable. Why? Because I never thought that I would carry a child in my womb. I have been battling with ovarian cyst and endometriosis since 2007. My husband had known this even before we got married. Both of us were aware of the fact that I would have infertility issues, that’s why we were blown away when we saw the two red stripes. Sometimes, I am bored ; I cannot wait to see my baby girl. I tell her “ I can’t wait to see you” . But then, I realized I should enjoy this stage. If I keep on saying this , she might go out too soon lol. Of course, I want to reach full term.

My daughter is expecting another girl too just now and feeling the kicks. Like you she also has fertility problems and is as pleased as punch to have overcome them. I wish you both the very best with your girls emoticon :winking:

I have different experiences with my three kids when I was pregnant. The third one who is my little boy gave more kicks

Actually I thought I was expecting a baby boy. I was surprised when my OB told me that's it was a girl. Nonetheless, I am so happy. The gender does not matter at all.

Thank you Jen emoticon

It means your baby wanted to say thank you mommy. But because that baby cannot talk yet, the only communication to communicate is a slight kick.

Awww, I remember that stage with my kids. It's the only thing I enjoyed about being pregnant! Enjoy it while it doesn't hurt lol

It's a great feeling but the hardest work comes once they are born!

That's so exciting! I'm fascinated by pregnancy stories because I'm not sure I'll ever be able to conceive. Hope you and baby girl stay safe and healthy emoticon

It was 40 years ago that I was in my morning sickness stage. My daughter (I have only one child) was born seven months from today in 1975. Hard to believe it was so long ago.

I can't speak more to this comment. I am not pregnant and never experienced to be pregnant so I can't relate to that. hehehe

The nine months of carrying a baby is truly a wonderful period. Although you may have bouts of sickness and be physically limited, the joy of feeling and knowing the little one is within you cannot be replaced.

I'm sure that baby will be your bundle of joy when she comes out, Ms. Jen. My wife and I have two girls and both are now working. It's nice having a daughter, especially for you girls, because you can do all sorts of things to make your baby girl beautiful and cute. I have just had the pictures of my girls printed on granite stone (photo rock) and I will give one each to both of them when my wife and I see them next month for a 2-week visit. Both of them are excited and looking forward to our coming.

They say it's good to let your baby listen to music (especially classical music) while they're still inside your womb so that they will grow up to appreciates the arts (and maybe become a Lea Salonga later hehehe!).

Someday iamshane487 when you find the right man to be the father of your child, you'll know how it feels.

After many miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy I believed the doctors who told me I would never conceive, and if I did I would probably suffer another ectopic. Then I talked to a holistic doctor who said that was nonsense, and after seeing her and two other holistic practitioners regularly for a year and following all their suggestions, I conceived at 45, had a blissful pregnancy, and delivered (by Caesarian) a beautiful, healthy boy a month before I turned 45. The joy of our lives. (And I certainly recall the delicious feeling of a babe moving and kicking within!)

I've been pregnant three times. All were kind of different. They all moved quite a bit though. It's definitely special to be able to feel them kick, and know that they're okay. What's even more special is when they're born, and you get to see them and hold them for the first time. I wish you guys all the best!

May Jesus filled you all with love and may He bless your baby girl with wisdom and understanding as she grows. Take care and may Jesus guide you and have a safe delivery soon. I am still single that is why I am not pregnant Lol! But I saw a friend of mine who always make me witness how his baby kicks and it is awesome. I thought at first that is impossible seeing it from one of her videos, but when I saw the wave on her tummy it is really wonderful and miracle of life. To Jesus be the glory.
