Great Valentines Day and I wore a Dress!

I haven't wore a dress in over 10 years. Honestly it's just never been my thing. I really wanted to try something different, not just for a Valentines Day but just in general, So I went and bought me a dress. So yesterday my boyfriend worked a twelve hour shift and he actually went on his own to finding a babysitter for my son and told me to be ready at 8:30pm so we can leave. He didn't tell me where we were going but he said he really wanted me to wear the dress, so I said alright!
So of course, babysitter was taken care of for my son for the night and my boyfriend came home to take a quick shower so we can leave, and he got dressed up too. Of course I was very excited and curious as to where we were going but I knew it was a surprise.
We ended up going to a nice place for dinner at Delmonico's where they have great steak and chicken dinners. Despite the fact it was freezing outside, it was such a lovely dinner. I haven't eaten stake in a very very long time.
We honestly came home and fell asleep because we were so tired and full. It was such a beautiful and lovely night though. We don't normally celebrate days like Valentines Day but this one was really special.
I also got to try a Chocolate Margarita, which by the way was very delicious. All in all, was a very nice surprise and lovely night!

That is good for a change. I am not fond of wearing dresses as well but I only do on special occasions.

That day was so special and you have a wonderful bf ! I don't celebrate valentines too and never experienced any surprises in that day unlike you.

I used to wear dresses as often as not but, these days, I don't even wear them for dress up occasions and I think that's kind of sad. Congratulations to you for shaking things up a bit and trying a dress, and congratulations to your boyfriend for providing such a nice evening out for the two of you.

Sounds like you really had a great time! I'm not a dress person either, I'd much prefer jeans, boots and a nice shirt.

Can't blame you! As soon as I'm done with daycare, I run to my room to grab on some PJ bottoms lol
