Why Have I Not Been On Here?

Seriously, where have I been? I joined another similar website, in which the earnings were "faster" and heyyyy, I've seen too many "nonpayment" posts for my liking. I am also hearing that the admins are not even responding back. I may post over there several times a week or so, just to keep in touch with a few people, but I think it's time to decrease my activity over there. My payment isn't due yet, but still, I'm not going to put in the effort to find that nobody is getting paid. So I'm stepping back and seeing how this plays out. And no, I am not referring to the bubble site.

I need to increase my posts here. I have 31 posts (before this one) and almost a dollar, which doesn't seem like much. But if I would remember to post and interact more over here, I could probably do better than that. I just need to try. I need to put in more of an effort and increase my activity.

Now unfortunately, I don't know if I'll ever hit 15 -or even 10- posts on here, unless it's a weekend. I have to focus on my freelance writing assignments from my clients, plus there's still our babysitting gigs (we all help and split the money, as we will be watching three kids rather than one for a while). I am also going to be starting my own blogs -like my late Daddy would have wanted- but I can still try to be in here a bit.

Sooo, let's see what happens and hope I have the time to be on here more. I like it here, but with my schedule, I never truly gave it a chance and I need to do that. I am not going to make promises, as my schedule varies throughout the week, but I will at least -TRY- to be here more than I have been. Anyways, I could say a lot more, but I'll save it all for future posts. You all have a good week ahead, and take care. :)

we met in CGP and see you here.I don't trust CGP at all. hehe

I'm trying to trust them, but within the last few days, I've seen too many issues about nonpayment and poor communication, and that can start to send a person red flags. :-/

I'm glad you're liking it here! Everyone I have talked to on here is pretty nice. :)

If i am not mistaken that is the site that most writers here in PersonaPaper hates most.

I just stopped to write there like I did in Bubblews. I am lucky that I found personapaper as well as I found you here !

So I guess you are talking about CGP. I am a member there as well but stopped posting as they stopped paying for any views but the members out there are very friendly which is why I keep interacting with them at times. PP is a good website but I don't see much activity here. Hope more members join in and start being active.

That's why I do not like to join new and untested sites.

I really believe that when people realize that the sites that pay more are not doing well and can't pay out, this place will pick up. People first have to realize that revenue sharing sites are just that. You can't make a ton off of it. It's a little extra cash here and there, but mostly, it's just a community.

We are moving forward from the start from a sustainable level, which, will hopefully keep us here longer than all the other sites.

Yeah I completely agree. This site is more reliable considering the rates while the other websites that offer more don't last long and even delay the payments.

I don't know. I haven't been on here as much, and I never knew anyone here hated it. I'm starting to see why though...

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 16, 2015, 4:10 PM

Bubblews is slow and they still have a bit to learn about informing members of changes BEFORE making them, and not AFTER, but at least I got paid. I'm not due for payment on the other site - I redeemed but it hasn't been 30 days - but I'm starting to wonder if I'll see that money. Luckily it wasn't my main source of income; freelance writing I picked up another babysitting gig for the time being (that one isn't permanent though).

What I don't like is making a post several weeks ago stating "We have the funds to pay our users", then not paying them because of a..."payment issue" (with PayPal or some crap like that), and then pretty much disappearing when people start writing them for payments. I may post for the people I talk to over there (for now, but I wouldn't count on me sticking around in the long-run if they're not going to pay), but I wouldn't expect to see me over there daily. I have no plans to post over there today.

I have several others bookmarked, but I'm not joining them right now. I don't want to at the moment.

First off, welcome back.

Secondly, hey, you do what you got to do. One of the things that I like about Persona Paper is that there really isn't any pressure to write as it can be as much fun as just reading other people's posts and commenting. True that you earn faster when you make your own posts but interaction is really the key.

Just my two cents.

ViperGirl85 wrote on February 16, 2015, 7:32 PM

Interaction is the key for most of these websites, but if one of them isn't going to pay AT ALL, they will NOT be getting much -if any- of my time. They certainly didn't today.

is it Bubblews? i came with that site also, i have two failed pending redemptions.
