Happy Valentines Day to Two of My Favorite Kitties, by Guiness the Cat

Hello, this is Guiness the Cat wishing a very happy Valentine's Day to everyone, but most especially two of my favorite kitties in the world: Mildred the Cat and Freya the Catblog Cat .
I could not ask for any two smarter, more beautiful, or more talented colleagues or friends than my two special Chair Cats in the Professional Cat Bloggers Association.
I wish I could take them out tonight for a nice evening on the town with a nice dinner of seafood and cream, followed by a lovely dessert of chicken snacks, but I'm afraid I'm rather strapped for cash at the moment. I do hope they will be happy with Friskies, some leftover hamburger, and a taste of 2% milk. Of course, I have treats and catnip--can't have Valentine's Day without those.
Afterwards, I thought maybe we could snuggle up on my special cat throw and find some nice cat videos to watch between naps. Of course, we'll need some snacks along. I was thinking maybe a bit of cheese and some lunch meat.
I can't afford roses, but the crocuses are blooming, so we'll go outside to smell them. It would be nice if Freya and Mildred arrived in time to lay in the sunshine, but they'd better get here in the next half hour or so or the sun will have fallen behind the trees.
Not that I don't think it would be romantic to lay out on the porch later in the moonlight, but Debbi has this silly notion that I shouldn't be outside after dark. I don't know why. I can see just fine in the dark.
I have to go freshen up now and get ready for the evening. Have a good Valentine's Day.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat
P.S. You can read Freya's posts here and Mildred's posts here . And if you care to read human writers, you can find there moms there also.

Awww, Guiness, You're so romantic! Freya and Mildred are very lucky to have attracted your discerning eye. Perhaps if you gave Debbi the latest bird or mouse that you've captured, she might be convinced to allow you out onto the porch.

Happy Valentine's Day to all the PP kitties. But especially to Guiness the black, whom I know the best. Hoping your day has brought you tuna, beef and cheese, without any digestive upsets to tax Debbi.

Maybe for this special occasion you will be allowed out for a little bit tonight.

Oh, wow, you had me at "cheese and lunch meat". Those are my favorite snacks, too! Happy Valentine's Day, Guinness!

Dearest Guiness. It is Mildred the Cat. I'm flattered by your words and your thoughts. I'm still purring and blushing from this post. Being a truly magnificent cat myself, I'm willing to share your affections with Freya the Catblog Cat . Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to your place today. We're experiencing another snow storm with blizzard conditions tomorrow. My mom is so upset she even took a nap today. I myself took about five naps. I did have my chicken treat. So I'm sending you extra purrs and high fives and smooches and a special Valentine's Day thought that I won't mention here.

Oh my, I am blushing beneath my whiskers. I am so pleased to be one of your valentines, dear Guiness. Human 1 had no valentine. so I am looking for a nice human for her so she gets one next year. I will be over shortly. I just have to do my fur and wash my whiskers. Love from Freya, the Valentine Catblog Cat.

Hi guys. Mildred the Cat here. Since I can't make it to Guinesses' place, have some extra fun for me, drink a toast to me, think of me. I'm a little jealous I think.

Happy Valentine's Day, Guiness, to you, the ladies, and your human. Your celebration plans sound purrfect to me.

This is Guiness the Cat. The last two times I brought Debbi a mouse in bed, she got rather annoyed when I let them go. I tried to explain that I'm a sport mouser--strictly catch and release--but it fell on deaf ears. She took to sleeping with a night light on for a long time after that.
Oh, and I'm allowed out on the porch in the daytime with supervision. Usually she's the one who insists, but these last few cold days, I've been the one who had to insist she come out with me instead of staying in the living room to fold clothes while she watched me through the storm door.

This is Guiness the Cat. Beef, check. Tuna and cheese ... I need to work on that.
OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 14, 2015, 9:52 PM
Dear Mildred,
I'm more than happy to give you a rain check. Why have one Valentine dinner if you can stretch it to two? Don't come Tuesday, as we might get snow or ice, and Georgia is not someplace you want to drive when there is snow or ice. Or, since the weather people are saying so this early, we probably will get nothing but rain. Either way, we can just chat on the internet that day.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat
P.S. Stay warm. Maybe you should lay on your human and keep her warm, too. It might entice to be a little more free with the chicken.

Dear Freya the Catblog Cat,
Please wrap up. The wind is blowing like crazy. Maybe we should have some warm milk when you get here.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

Dear Mildred,
We'll toast you with milk and (if I have my way) with tuna juice. Please come soon.
Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

This is Guiness the Cat. After hearing the way the wind is blowing, I think I've changed my mind about anything romantical on the porch.

This is Guiness the Cat. You're so sweet. Happy Valentine's Day.

Ah Guiness The Cat, it looks like you enjoyed Valentine's Day. Sometimes it is the simple things that are remembered the most.

This is Guiness the Cat. Sounds very interesting, but don't tell Mildred or Freya I said that.

What a holiday, Bringing cats and dogs together! May you both never run out of snuggles or snacks.

This is Guiness the Cat. I like dogs online much better than I do in person. (I don't have to put up with doggy breath for one thing). I have quite a few online canine friends.
celticeagle wrote on February 18, 2015, 8:54 PM
Maybe so.

This is Guiness the Cat. We kitties always know best.

I hope all of you kitties had a great Valentine's Day. I don't know why I am not being notified about these posts. I had to see the link on Tsu to know this was here. I missed my notifications there, too. They must have come in before I was up in the morning on one of those days I didn't get to see half of them.
OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 20, 2015, 12:00 AM
This is Guiness the Cat. We never got any more notifications from you after the "new and improved" (excuse me while I cough up a hairball ... hack, hack) Bubblews, either. We checked more than once to make sure we were still connected and everything.
BarbRad wrote on February 20, 2015, 1:42 PM
It was always hard to tell if you had missed notifications there, since we saw so few that may have been sent. I think it's time to get out. I just want to make sure I still have copies of all I want to save. There are a few I missed.
