More Freebies

Birthday month continues!

I haven't had much time to spend online today, but it's been a pretty profitable afternoon nonetheless.

I had a coupon for a free burger from Ruby Tuesday for my birthday. The expired next Tuesday. We are supposed to get weather of some sort that day (and I hope it is the snow sort, not the ice or plain old rain sort), so I decided it might behoove me to go get my free meal sooner than later.

I also had other errands, so it was off to the bank, then Walmart, then Ruby Tuesday, then Kroger, where I scored several regular non-birthday freebies. Today's Friday Freebie download from was for a free pack of gum. I also had an unredeemed previous Friday Freebie coupon on my card for a free yogurt.

The Saving Star Friday Freebie today was a free mini-cup of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, but I really wanted chocolate fudge brownie and this location was out of it. I just might be heading to a different Kroger this weekend. I'm not one to turn down free ice cream. And I still have one more unredeemed freebie on my Kroger card that's about to expire.

Kroger currently has a promotion awarding 4x fuel points on gift card purchases. Since I have coupons for free desserts for four weeks with the purchase of an entrée at Captain D's, I picked up a Captain D's gift card for the points, putting my total points earned on this shopping trip at 105. Since I have an cell phone, I not only can use the points for a discount on fuel, I get a dollar towards my cell phone bill for every 100 points I earn. Not long after I got home, I got a text saying a dollar had been deposited in my i-wireless account.

I had a Saving Star offer on one of the items I purchased, so I'm off to submit my receipt now in hopes of seeing another dollar in my Saving Star account in a few days and being able to redeem again.

Now those are some savings. We also have some freebies like that here in the Phils and I also take advantage of them as much as I can!

That is cool to know, birhtday month celebration can be so much fun. I would never say NO for an ice cream except if my cough is really bad Lol! I pray that you will get more blessings this month and enjoy your freebies! Happy birthday and may God bless every area of your life and of your family. God bless.

Dear Guiness's Mom,
The real question is whether you got any free cat food. I have been trying to train Human 1 to find us free food due to the economic downturn in the household this week. Love from Freya, the Cat blog Cat.

I wish we had things like that here in the UK. Instead all we get is soaring living costs and more debts.

There aren't these types of free offers in the UK. Free offers are very limited, limited areas, limited timespans, so almost unachievable. I'd love free food, but it's not as straight forward to get and find as it seems.

So the birthday celebrations continue...have fun :)

My head is spinning from all the freebies and points you got. I do use coupons when I grocery shop, but that's about it. I never get any freebies but haven't taken the time to figure out how to get them. I did get 75 cents off of 10 cans of Mildred's cat food yesterday and thought that was good.

I've gotten a few in previous years, but this year I did more research and email signups, so between birthday freebies and new sign-up freebies, I've got quite a bit of coupons to redeem this month. I had another free dessert today.

Unfortunately, the second Kroger was also out of the ice cream I wanted. But there should be more free offers next Friday from Kroger and Saving Star.

Dear Freya the Catblog Cat,

I did get a free sandwich and a free hamburger for Debbi's birthday. Since it was actually HER birthday (my previous maid thinks my birthday is around August), I let her have the bread, lettuce, French fries, etc. I'm resting up to write reviews.

Sincerely, Guiness the Cat

UK_Writer & WordChazer -

That's too bad. On my income, free and cheap are two very important things.

I am! :) Just ate the other half of my free hamburger from yesterday.

I was quite proud of myself this year. I did get quite a bit. Unfortunately, but signing up for some of them so close to my birthday, I ended up with the birthday coupons and the sign-up thank you coupons all coming in at once, and I'm having to carefully plan so that I don't let any expire. As for the regular freebies, both Kroger (and Kroger family stores) and Saving Star usually have a Friday Freebie offer. The Kroger freebie is loaded onto my Kroger card and comes off at the register, but I have to submit a picture of my receipt to Saving Star and get the money added to my account, which is transferred to PayPal when I reach $5. One really good thing about Saving Star, though, is that their deals can be used in addition to coupons and frequently match a current coupon. When that lines up with a current sale, I can get a really good deal.

Wow you have been lucky! I hope March will be lucky for me too - it is my birthday month!

Do your research now so that if you decide to sign up for any brand membership email newletters or "clubs", you'll have time to be in the loop for any birthday freebies. I made in time for some of the ones I signed up for, but I also got many freebies for signing up all at the same time, and they all expire within 2 weeks to a month.
