It's Been Awhile

Wow, it's been almost a month since I last strolled through our neighborhood, and I've really missed you guys. I won't bore you with all the details, suffice it to say life happens and you just have to deal with it. I really need to get back in the swing of things and keep in touch now.

Another viciously cold day here in the mountains, and I will detest venturing out to keep a doctor's appointment. Which I'd detest even if it was warm and sunny out...just not as much. I have to have a pre-op consult with my surgeon, then have some tests run to check on my general physical health. Thank goodness it's not a test on my general mental health, I'd blow up the lab, LOL! My wrist surgery is next Wednesday. I dread the thought of going through it, yet am hopeful it will eventually lessen the horrible pain. Has anyone else experienced having partial or full fusion of the wrist? I've had partial and it was hard enough to re-learn how to do certain tasks.

I am NOT a good patient, but for my poor husband's sake, I'll give it my best shot. Well, I'll TRY to, at the very least!

Aww, I'm so sorry you have to get surgery on your wrist. I have a friend who has had two surgeries on her wrist, but i'm not 100% sure exactly what was done. I think she had carpel tunnel at the time. Hoping you get a fast recovery!

It is cold in our neck of the woods as well. I'm sorry you have to have surgery on your wrist. Hopefully the surgery will help alleviate the pain you are having.

Hi, Amanda! I thought maybe you'd already had your surgery. I haven't written on here for a while, either. I hope all goes well for you and that this will help alleviate the pain you've been experiencing. Hugs!

Its wet, cold and windy in my mountains too (Spain) I hate doctors appointment, and really have to force myself to attend them. I hope your surgery goes well and you are back on form very soon.

I had a problem to my right wrist 8 months ago, it was not easy, now everything seems fine again.
