the parable of a librarian
Last Saturday, i wrote an article about a parable of a teacher, since i was in the area of future teachers. I wrote that to inspire future teachers. Now, since i am a librarian by profession, i need to write a parable of a librarian.
The story will start like this.
One day, a lawyer comfronts a librarian.
Lawyer: do remember mister librarian that i know all the terminologies in law. And no one will question me with that reason including you. I can handle difficult problems to judge anyone else. I already read all kinds of law books from criminal cases, civil cases and even international laws. No questions from any individual that i cannot answer.
Librarian: Really?
Lawyer: Of course, now give me a shot.
Librarian: Who was the leader who lead the Spanish to conquer the Philippines in 1421 to which he's a Portuguese?
Lawyer: (thinking) I do not know the answer?
Librarian: Ferdinand Magellan
Lawyer: I did not read that. Where did you read that?
Librarian: History books. I thought, you have read all the books?
Lawyer: Except history books.
Narrator: Now, who knows more?

I don't think that lawyer study well in elementary and in high school, because he doesn't know that history... unless he is from a very far country. Lol! But I guess you have to be more clever in your story, because the lawyer stated all kind of books that he read -- pertaining to the subject mentioned above. :D Have a great day.

History is so important. It was one of my majors in college. I teach English, but I would welcome a change to teaching history. Thank you for your lovely parables. Blessings are coming your way.
