Hollywood Suicides: Do You Remember Capucine?

Every heard of Listverse.com . It's a site where you can earn money for generating lists. Bookmarked it. It's on my “To Do List”. Thinking of trying it out but for some reason … if I'm in rant mode, have no problems spitting out a Top 10 List. But if I have to think about a list of things … all of a sudden, everything goes blank! While perusing headlines via YAHOO!, came across a listed published by Listverse of actresses who tragically ended their lives. Article was titled: “ 10 Iconic Actresses Who Tragically Ended Their Lives ”.

Iconic?

Do you know what that word means?

For a definition, click here: http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/iconic

Scanning through the list, realized there was only one “iconic” person that I recognized. Capucine!

One seldom forgets celebrities who are known by only one name .

I wouldn't call Capucine iconic. Iconic is Audrey Hepburn. Capucine was another 1960s model turned actress and best remembered for The Pink Panther.

Yeah. The use of the word "iconic" kind of tripped me up too! Audrey Hepburn? Definitely iconic! Thanks for your comments.

Of course Audrey Hepburn. But she didn't take her own life. Now I must check out the link out of curiosity...
