At last a little more snow!

I realize that compared to those living in parts of Canada and the Northeast of the U.S. my complaints of a lack of enough snow may seem absurd. But for me, having lived in Minnesota for the past 8 years, lots of snow in the winter is one of the perks as far as I'm concerned. Our snow back is considerably lacking this year.

After enduring a relatively humid summer and bothersome mosquitoes, I consider a lot of snow in the winter a just reward. I realize I probably wouldn't feel quite as enthusiastic about snow if I still had to commute. But, I don't, so I do!

We did finally get almost a couple of inches this past Tuesday. At least that has brightened up the landscape, along with bright sunshine yesterday and today. That is my vision of a perfect Minnesota winter's day!

This is funny because just earlier this morning I was thinking that if I wanted this much snow, I would live in Wisconsin or Minnesota! lol

Snow is so rare here that I still get a bit excited when we get some...

We have had a lot of rain lately and I am enjoying it. Snow and ice are too dramatic for me.

When I lived in Utah, I felt much the same way. Plus, snowfall there is very important because it provides the water they need the rest of the year.

And I would very happily accept them!

It's been a few days now since our last snowfall and temps have risen to melt much of it. I wish you could send some of yours!

This is definitely not the place for snow this year!

Prior to moving to Minnesota eight years ago I have always lived where there wasn't much snow. I love the snow.

I'll take snow over rain any day. I lived in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. for most of my adult life. I've had my fill of rainy winters. I do love a good rain storm though.

We have the same issue here in Minnesota. A good snow pack is very important.

I have lived in Manila all my life and experiencing snow first hand would be a delight!

We've really just had one snowfall with any accumulation whatsoever, and that was last week. The stuff is almost completely gone already.

We still have snow on the ground since it's been quite cold. We often get snow in March, so who knows!
