Today's Plans

Today I am going to the gym with my girlfriend to spend some time playing racquetball. After we are done playing racquetball, we will be getting on treadmills. I need a good cardio workout to keep me sane.

I am not used to having time on my hands. I have spent the last three years working on oil rigs and other types of vessels offshore. There has not been much time to do anything else. Now that I am onshore for weeks on end, I really don't know what to do with myself.

Working out seems to help occupy my time. Hopefully I will get in shape and lose some weight in the meantime.

I will also spend quite a bit of time writing. Writing is another constructive activity that I enjoy.

A combination of working out and writing (sitting too long on one's behind) is good for brain and body. I'm sure you will benefit from both!

I hope y'all enjoy the gym time. At least that's a healthy way to use up the time you're not working.
