It's snowing again

You would think by looking at this picture that we have quite enough and really don't need more but it seems that Mother Nature doesn't agree and is giving us more snow this morning. Most of the state of Connecticut is getting a dusting to a couple of inches. It is not a lot, just enough to to make the roads and walkway slick and dangerous.

And then if that isn't quite enough, we have more scheduled for Sunday night over into Monday. We really will be walking in a a winter wonderland. Luckily we don't have a whole lot going on, we have a spaghetti dinner tonight at our grandson's school and church on Sunday but other than that, we can just hunker down with the dogs and just stay warm.

That looks beautiful, but not if you have to drive in it. Funny how snow changes from fun to treacherous when we become adults.

We have done quite well here in England this year. It did snow overnight and cover the ground, but it has soon dissipated.

Snow was fun when I was a kid. We had a skating rink in the backyard so didn't have to go far to play. Usually shopping was done once a week and we stayed in a lot.

Snow is beautiful, but it is more beautiful when one can just stay in and watch it.

It is the cold, not snow, that has me ready for spring. Of course, we are going to get more wickedly cold days.

I do love how beautiful the snow makes the world look and if I don't have to drive in it I am fine. :)

It has been so cold here that there is no dissipation going on at all. More cold weather is forecast too over the next few days. :)

I remember the winters fondly from when we were children as well. It seemed to always be snowy but of course the records disprove that. :)

Yes the cold is blasting across the country headed for New England even as we speak.

I am just to the north of you and have had our fill of snow! It looks like we will be getting more on Monday. Batten it comes!

bless your heart. I have not seen snow this year or much of it last year and I never remember a year where we had that much though my husband says when they were kids it snowed a lot here.

I'll exchange you a bit of our summer sunshine for a bit of your winter snow - just a little mind you!

I know I plan to do anything I need to do tomorrow and then batten down the hatches again and hunker down. I guess winter has finally decided to hit us. :)

We have had a few years now in a row with lots of snow and we are getting kinda used to it but when it gets to 3 feet it stops being fun. :)

Snow is what happens in winter in New England. It gets dangerous, but it is also very beautiful.
