She May Be Pregnant!

As you all know, I have a female cat named Luna. I have noticed that she seems to have gained a fair amount of weight lately. I am thinking, much to my dismay, that she may be pregnant. A friend of mine said I should take her to the vet for an ultrasound but that cost I do not have. That is the only reason she has not been fixed yet. I had a job lined up before I got her but that job fell through and I was already so attached to her.

I honestly do hope she is NOT pregnant. That is one more thing that I just do not want to have to deal with. I would have to keep her and the babies away from my son. The last time I had a female cat get pregnant, we kept her and the babies in a small box in out closet...but that was before Elliot. Now, his bed is right next to the closet. I know Elliot.

I could empty on this large green box I have but again, I would have to put them somewhere my son, the dogs, and my other cat would not be able to reach.

She will find a safe place to put them if she is pregnant.

Good luck with it! My daughters cat had a litter of oops kittens last April. Once I started thinking she might be pregnant, she sure enough had them not to long after!

O dear. It doesn't take an ultrasound. Feeling her belly, or watching for signs of movement should tell you. She will need fixed when the kittens are 6 weeks old if you are to avoid another litter too!
