My Mother is in the Hospital
Was kind of busy these past few days. My mother got sick. Actually she got cellulitis on her left leg. So with the recommendation s from my brothers I brought her to the hospital for check-up and be admitted. It is hard if it is a family member. The hospital is not new but they had improved and added a new building so that is where I had my mom admitted. We got a suite room that had a ref and bigger than the regular private rooms . There are 3 of us watching her, my daughter, helper and me. During the day my daughter's boyfriend comes. So if I need anything to be bought i can sent the 2 of them to do it and at least my helper is with me. My mom needs help to walk to the bathroom and back because of her IV on her left hand.
The room can be mistaken like a hotel room because it is big and even the bathroom is big so it is good for us because it needs at least 2 persons to help my mom.
Even though it is hard I am glad we were able to get admitted and diagnosed even her old complaints . We got in Jan. 27 late afternoon and we hope we can be discharged by Friday or Sat.
The connection is kind of slow but glad I can connect if needed. So maybe next week I will be more active. Family responsibilities comes first.

Glad she is going to be ok. Those rooms sound a lot nicer than our local hospital.

Please do look after your mother -- and yourself. Family always comes first. I hope your mother's recovery is speedy and complete. Take whatever time you need -- we won't forget you. : )
