Foggy Day

Today is a day I will be catching up with laundry and vacuuming, getting ready for some visitors on the weekend. I spent yesterday in town, with appointments and groceries and a little fun thrown in, so today I need to get more serious about getting some stuff done at home. Of course, the days I'm at home are also the days I spend more time online, but I do need to focus on my chores as well.

We had sunshine predicted for today and yesterday, but the fact is, we have a great deal of fog. When we crossed the lake yesterday, we couldn't see to the other side because the fog was so thick. Today the clouds seem a bit higher, but it is hardly sunshine. However, our temperature is mild for this time of year. They say it won't go below freezing overnight. I'm pretty sure it was above freezing last night, too. I don't have the fire on in the kitchen yet today.

I hope your day is going well.

I hope that you managed to get all of your choirs done and managed to have some me time.

Hope you get to do the things needed to be done. It's just another work day for me and today I plan to change my bed sheets and clean my room. I have enough free time to do that after teaching my online students for three hours this morning.

I hope you got everything done. I love fog. For one reason or another, it's always something that I enjoy. I wish we could get fog more often, but sadly, we don't get it often.

We have fog nearly every morning. It was really foggy this morning and still foggy by 10a when it is usually been burned off.

I like fog, it sets a mood. I have been doing some household chores myself.

I love foggy days; they are so wonderfully atmospheric.

We are just thawing out our pipes again. I keep having visions of a cozy cabin dancing in my head. However, that is a bit down the road.

We h ave had fog too, for a few days, and some rain we desperately need. It's nice to see the hills looking green.

I didn't grow up with much fog, and so had a kind of romanticism about it - from childhood visits to the east coast and Sherlock Holmes movies. But I tell you, after a year and half, just 2o minutes down the coast from Barrington Passage, NS, I had more than I need for a while. One night, driving home, the fog had us creeping along to 5 km/hour for a stretch. We nearly got hit by a porcupine. We didn't hit him but he almost hit us...
