Moving Sites And Changing User Names

Over the last few months many of the bubblers have moved to different writing sites being unhappy with Bubblews. On changing sites I decided to take my username feeling it would be easier if other bubblers moving over could find me. Luckily many have and it is really nice to still read their posts. Many have changed their usernames for different reasons. Maybe they wanted to be someone else or change their writing style. A fresh start could work for some but for me it would be very difficult to write in a different style.

I am making new friends on persona paper but really treasure my old bubbling mates. Everyone is different and each must do as they think fit.

I keep my username wherever I go online. I see no point in changing it just for the sake of change. I did try it once but very quickly reverted to being myself.

That's what I thought . It took me long enough on Bubblews to get known as it was .

I am very easy to recognize. I use the name and the avatar that I used on other sites. Some of my friends from Bubblews also use the same name here on Persona Paper, but some people prefer to change their username when they join a new site.

I change my name on most sites. I was Writers on Bubblews. On Hubpages I am something different. I wish I'd picked one GOOD name, right from the start, but I didn't. And now I am stuck with choosing different and unexciting names forever emoticon  Having a different name means I can dissociate myself from having written on any site if it turns out to be a dud.... but, it's not easy for people to find me.

I have kept my username from bubblews as that name is me. I have just started my blog with that username, It is my xbox name tag and it is also my email. I am maplewinter or maybe maplewinter is me... who knows.

I started off as barbsbooks on social networking sites because I joined for business reasons. When I joined Squidoo I became BarbRad there. On HubPages I thought I'd become WannaB Writer, and now wish I'd chosen something different or stayed with my Squidoo name. Of course, my Squidoo transfer account is still BarbRad, since I kept it on the move to HubPages and we couldn't combine our accounts. My first account on Twitter is barbsbooks, but I have two others. I'm Gale427 when I want to post political and religious links, as well as writing links. I'm barbsloco when I want to post about my local area. On Bubblews I was barbsbooks again. I think I'm going to stick with BarbRad for most new writing sites now. If you see either BarbRad or barbsbooks anywhere, it's likely to be me.

I took my id. I wanted anyone who enjoy my posts to look at them. I use the same handle on all sites. or close to it.

suzzy3 wrote on January 26, 2015, 5:47 PM

I can understand that to certain extent but I like to follow people and using my name makes it easier for me.

suzzy3 wrote on January 26, 2015, 5:49 PM

I thought I recognised you it is amazing how your writing is your signature. There is nothing wrong with your user names.

suzzy3 wrote on January 26, 2015, 5:56 PM

I have been suzzy3 since Mylot and before that various other sites ,I have had my name for about 7 years.

I have had suzzy3 for about 7 years on various sites. I will look out for you on other sites as well. Changing my name would only confuse me and I would forget who I was.

suzzy3 wrote on January 26, 2015, 6:01 PM

Yes I have been suzzy3 for about 7 years. If I changed it for different sites it would be so confusing for me . I have enough trouble remember all the different security names.

I have enough trouble remembering all my pass words let alone different user names.

My name is Dawnwriter on all sites but somehow I joined Bubblews as Justascribbler. I think same online name helps people find each other quickly.

When I stopped writing on Hubpages and went over (eventually) to bubblews I didn´t know you could keep your writer name so I changed mine from bac2basics to Hollyhocks100. It was only when I was sussing bubblews out I realised I was seeing the same writers names from Hubpages, so when I came here I kept the same one. I´m really glad lots of others did the same as it´s lovely to see you all here, and that may not have happened if people hadn´t kept the same name.

suzzy3 , I have the same username on Persona Paper as I have on Bubblews. It is slightly different on HubPages.

I have made many changes, more than I should have, as it is getting so that I even confuse myself! I am drannhh on myLot, which has started paying again, by the way, and I would have picked a better name there to start if I'd had any idea how addicting that site turned out to be. I like Persona Paper very much too, but for some reason I just cannot seem to work it into my schedule. I don't really know the reason why because I love the people here and especially the owners.
