Yesterday, I visited two countries within an hour

You might think this is impossible but it is true. Last night, I visited two in a span of less than 60 minutes and had a grand time with my two hosts Koalemos and Porcospino .

While reading their posts I realized something. When you read one post by an author you get some clues to that person's life but this is more like piecing tiny pieces of together. However, if you read 10 posts by a writer in a row, a whole picture can emerge that can amaze you with its clarity.

So, I first visited with and had a fun time visiting ancient castles and manors in Denmark. I also enjoyed meeting her grandfather and read about a few experiments and documentaries that are popular in her country but which made me shiver.

The second country that I visited was with to show me around. I came back all cold and shivering due to sleet and . I also found out about cancelled bus services and ' s high regard for this site with which I agree whole-heartedly.

Though some people here have some reservations about the , I had a lot of fun and want to thank both for sharing such lovely posts with us. I hope you can pay this forward by choosing a member each and read 10 of his or her posts (that person cannot be me).

Also please leave meaningful thoughtful comments without writing things like this is part of a challenge because then the may seem like spam or generic and we don't want such stuff here.

Now I am off to Canada to meet Colibry21 .

And for visiting all these countries you get paid. Not bad (lol)

That's a pretty awesome day, I must say. Especially considering I have only ever been to two countries in my entire life lol. I don't travel very much. Hopefully someday I will.

That's like an all-expense-paid trip! Maybe if I'd have more time to spend here, I'd be able to "visit" foreign countries too! :)

One of the wonderful things about sites like this is we can learn so much without going anywhere.

It sounds like you enjoyed learning about these people's lives. This is what I like about this site. You get to know people from the little pieces of their lives that they share.

This is indeed a very cost-saving way of travelling.

I am from the second town you visited and although I no longer live there I was surprised to learn of the snowfall . I am 32 miles down the road from there and we haven't had any snow .

All that travel and no jet lag! lol I've been out of circulation for a while, so this is the first I've learned of this challenge. I agree with you that in reading several of another's posts all at once helps to give a more detailed view of that writer more so than reading snippets here and there.

This is a really cool idea. emoticon  I love to travel, but don't have the time or money right now, so this seems like a fun way to do it vicariously.

Oh That sound so exciting. You are doing a great job..I wish I could spend more time here.

We do tend to develop some level of understanding about others after interacting for a while, so I can fully understand what you are saying here. We do have cold weather at this time of year, but to be fair it is far milder than most previous winters.

What can I say. I love added perks. emoticon  emoticon

Dawnwriter wrote on January 27, 2015, 11:44 PM

I hope you do realize that I meant it figuratively. This was armchair travelling or desktop one.

SoundNFury wrote on January 27, 2015, 11:46 PM

You know, I didn't even think about it. Now I feel like an idiot. LOL

Dawnwriter wrote on January 27, 2015, 11:47 PM

No jet lag and whole 20 coins from my travels emoticon

SoundNFury wrote on January 27, 2015, 11:47 PM

I think I translated your "hour" into a day. Still, it would be difficult. I'll just go away

Dawnwriter wrote on January 27, 2015, 11:58 PM

Oh don't feel bad. We all have our oops moments ; -)

How wonderful that you're visiting all these different countries through the posts here on Persona Paper!

That is right. Through reading the posts of other friends here, we can travel without leaving the computer.
