Does anyone here use Tsu?

I joined Persona Paper and Tsu on the same day. I have posted quite a few lovely photos on Tsu and spent some time liking and commenting on other people's posts.

I can't say I am impressed with Tsu as I have earned a whole 4 cents . I will persevere for a while as I like the idea of sharing my photos but it reminds me of another site I used to post photos on that collapsed some few months back.

I do quite like Persona paper but am finding it slow to earn here. To be truthful Bubblews is quicker and that is like a wet week compared with what it was.

I will continue for a while writing on both Bubblews and here and posting my links on Tsu along with some photos but in about three months it will be decision time and some will have to go as I really cannot spend my day on line for about 20 cents.

I have heard others talk of another site CPU or something. What has anyine else found and which do you find works best.

If anyone has any tips on how to get more readers and followers then I would love to know.

The photo is from the Crazy bear Hotel in Oxfordshire!

I did join TSU some time ago and gave it a good try but didn't really find it my cup of tea. And you have earned 3 cents more than I managed! I have tried CGP but again not particularly enamoured with it.

catsholiday wrote on January 24, 2015, 3:51 PM

It seems they are all pretty similar and you just have to choose which to make yours!

We have probably been spoilt by the earnings from another certain site but at the moment I prefer to be here, so I'm happy to stay here.

Heard of Tsu and CGP Galery but haven't joined either as I've heard some negative reviews about it so waiting to hear more positive info before considering them. Earnings here can be kind of slow and it does take time but it's good to see the coins pile up. At least the bank here actually moves unlike in that other site where it seems to be at a constant stand-still.

I looked at both Tsu and CGP Gallery and decided to give them a miss. One is a copyright thieves' paradise and the other is a Bubble Ooze clone. No thanks.

I also joined Tsu and Persona Paper the same day. I like writing here and sharing the link on Tsu and Facebook. I figure if it gives me a couple more views for the same work, why not?

I've been on Tsu for a little over three months and I like it for some things but not others. It's great for posting links and other short, short stuff but there is no substantial writing there and little discussion. On the other hand, I make about 3 times as much on Tsu as I do on Bubblews. The main trick to making money on Tsu is amassing as many "Friends" as possible. You don't really make much money until you have well over a thousand friends. It's pretty easy to amass friends there because everyone wants more friends so they can make more money. The main value of Tsu to me is in linking to my articles on other sites. And the steady income of 25 to 50 cents a day is not bad although I'll be happier when I get that over a dollar a day. So many people at Tsu just post pictures (usually without credits) but I try to take a different approach. You can check out my Tsu page here: Persona Paper is more about writing and interaction and I like that way better than Tsu or Facebook or Twitter where there is very little substance.

I don't know what TSU is and therefore I cannot answer your question

catsholiday wrote on January 24, 2015, 5:16 PM

I have put a lot of my own photos on there and links to Bubblews and here but despite liking and commenting on others posts no one has come back :(

catsholiday wrote on January 24, 2015, 5:24 PM

that is what i thought too but it doesn't seem to be working as yet

catsholiday wrote on January 24, 2015, 5:24 PM

I'm sticking with Bubblews as well as writing on here

Magnolia wrote on January 24, 2015, 5:36 PM

I tried TSU and I did not care for it. Bubblews will never have my full trust again and I do not think they care. I like it here but am not sure the owners care for me - so who knows.

chrisandmark wrote on January 24, 2015, 7:26 PM

I've not long joined over here but making money is slow going lol x

Gina145 wrote on January 24, 2015, 7:28 PM

I tried Tsu for about two weeks without ever doing much there. Then I quit without ever having earned a cent. Sometimes I think I may have been too hasty and I'm considering giving it another try, if only to promote my work at other sites.

I'm at CGP Gallery too. I crossed the $20 mark two days ago and requested my payment. Now I just need to wait 30 days to see if they're legit. No matter what happens, I've got no plans of returning to Bubblews unless something really drastic changes. I've been cheated too often and I no longer trust that site.

I spent hours in discussions at tsu last night. There are plenty of substantive posts. You just have to know how to find them. Try searching hashtags of subjects that interest you. Find people with common interests that way and you'll also find it a good source of information on subjects that interest you. I haven't even finished the good stuff posted by people I discovered today.

Lutfi_wardi wrote on January 24, 2015, 9:35 PM

I did join on Tsu, until now I get $4.11. I spent to give like on Tsu and share friend's posting. anyway I have account in CGP and more active there.

BarbRad wrote on January 24, 2015, 10:06 PM

Is that other site you are referring to Teckler? If so, they are too different animals. I've already earned more on tsu than I did my whole time on Teckler. I hated it when Teckler went down, though, because I loved having somewhere I could get paid for posting photos to share. Now I can integrate my text with my photos and people can easily talk back and forth about what you post. Conversations hardly ever happened at Teckler. It also had problems with stolen photos being posted.

LilyDay wrote on January 25, 2015, 1:56 PM

It can take a while to get settled into Tsu. I really do like the site; there are some things that need to be improved regarding spam, but it is a good site beyond that.

Interact on the site; share; comment; like, and carefully choose your friends on Tsu. If you do those things, you will see your earnings grow over the span of a few weeks. It doesn't take having 1,000+ friends on there to earn; it just takes good friends and proper use of hashtags. Also, add a watermark to your photos and a description for what you are posting; you may also want to add the hashtag.

LilyDay wrote on January 25, 2015, 1:58 PM

And, now, I wish that I could edit my comment. I didn't mean to add a hashtag there. My brain seems to be off on a bit of a journey today...

I haven't tried TSU. I did look at CGP but the layout was confusing. I am finding all sites quite slow earning at the moment :(

Renda wrote on January 26, 2015, 9:24 PM

I do not use TSU and don't think I will after reading your article and some of the comments.

MStarDutchess wrote on January 27, 2015, 4:36 AM

I couldn't earn anything from there. I found people with similar interest, shared things, but never did earn anything. There are a lot of celebrities that have pages on there so they usually get the most interactions. Kind of pointless unless one is a popular blogger or something to that extent.

j2jworkz wrote on January 31, 2015, 1:01 PM

Haven't tried TSU, I think my plate is full.

catsholiday wrote on January 31, 2015, 4:20 PM

yes it was Teckler and it was nice to be able to have somewhere to put photos I agree

Jay_Angel wrote on February 1, 2015, 2:38 PM

I too write for Bubblews. Earning there is painfully slow. I have been commenting at a breakneck pace and have only earned $0.20 in a week.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 2, 2015, 5:16 PM

I love Tsu. I'm not making money very fast, but at least it's increasing at an exponential rate as my time/content/and followers increase. Even if I never make payout, it's very worth it to me for the promotional value and for the opportunity to connect with writer friends somewhere other than a writer site. It's brought me in probably as many or more views than Facebook, and definitely more views than Twitter or Google+. And it's allowed me to find a number of interesting articles by friends on sites I'm not on that I would never have known about otherwise. I assume that's true of my friends with my work on different sites.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 2, 2015, 5:25 PM

Tsu is a social network similar to Facebook, except they share ad revenue with you. It's a magnet for writers and photographers, so it's great for interacting with people you know from writing sites somewhere other than that site. I've also found it very good for promotion.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 2, 2015, 5:27 PM

I love it for promotion! It's very writer-centric, and I think writers are more willing to click on links and read other's articles since that's the same thing they want to see happen with their links.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 2, 2015, 5:30 PM

It does take awhile to earn that first cent. But the more active you are, the longer you've been there, the more followers you have, and the more content you put up, the faster you're bank grows.

OldRoadsOnceTraveled wrote on February 2, 2015, 5:32 PM

I really like Tsu, too. It's still a very new site, so I think as it matures, they will get some of the issues straightened out. Facebook wasn't built in a day.

Nar2Reviews wrote on February 3, 2015, 3:02 PM

Perseverance is key though catsholiday - clearly PP doesn't have the same kudos as Bubblews but I believe there is more here that will build and get better over time. I find that this is a far easier site to write for than DTC for example and anything else that uses WordPress as its formatting platform. White-Feather I wasn't aware of who TsU are, but it annoys me that by clicking on your profile to see what it is like, I have to sign up FIRST before I can view anything.

I liked Bubblews not only for the earnings but because it worked well on my old Nokia cellphone before its changes in July. Now I am using an iPhone 5S but totally lost navigating that site while this site works perfectly on Safari browser.

Invite-only site is NOT for me so I didn't join Tsu nor will join Sweeble. Have you heard about the new app by Bubblews? Oh the other new writing site you are referring to is the CGP Gallery I guess. I didn't join there but sometimes I read my friends posts. I find PP's design perfect for me. I love mobile friendly sites. For my photos, I share them on :)

louisechackett wrote on February 19, 2015, 9:17 AM

I agree we were spoiled by Bubblews. It is so hard to make anything on any of the sites now I find.

Firecracker wrote on April 20, 2015, 4:09 AM

Yes, I have an account with Tsu. I also have one with Bubblews too. :)

MegL wrote on August 12, 2015, 9:22 AM

Yes, I am on Tsu. I use it more as a way of gaining some extra backlinks from different sites. They all help with the google search results.

catsholiday wrote on August 12, 2015, 9:26 AM

I tried Tsu - have pretty much given up on Bubblews but look in from time to time. Tsu was VERY slow!
