why there is a monthly holiday here in Bulacan, Philippines?
As of this moment, my lunchbreak so i decided to post for a while. Since, today is a holiday, my library staff are not around. Only the carpenter foreman and his helper are here with me in the library to install the shelves that i asked the management to install. Since today is a Bulacan holiday, i decided to checked few minutes ago the reason of the holiday today. I am not that aware of the local holidays here in Bulacan because i am only new here. Me and my family were just migrated here last April 2014. And just like MommyCharm commented on my previous article that Bulacan had monthly holidays. In view of this i found out from www.filipinoscribe.com/tag/bulacan-holiday-january-23/ in commemoration of the 116th anniversary of the inauguration of the Malolos Republic. If i am not mistaken, the other month, another Bulacan holiday because of the birthday of a Bulacan hero. Are we out of our mind that we sacrifices the education of the students because of occassionally suspending the classes?

I agree! While the students may be celebrating because of a local holiday celebrated almost every month, the education that these students get are sacrificed as well.
Unfortunately luisga814 we can't do nothing about it since we aren't in any government post. lol :)

If i have a chance to be a politician i will remove those regularly monthly holidays. We have to commemorate only national holidays.
