An Imam Prayed to Allah in the US House of Representatives!!!

So?

For those losing their small minds over an imam opening the House of Representatives with a prayer, kindly shut your noisehole.

Did you want religious expression in Congress? Well, this is what that means. There is a Muslim Representative in Congress. There is also a bisexual agnostic Representative. Sure, they may be at least a handful of Christians in Congress as a whole, but representation for all is kind of a theme pounded on Capitol Hill, yes?

So, bow your head and show a muted respect for what you passionately wanted.

Sit down and talk with local Muslims. Go visit the imam of a mosque in your area.

I spoke with previous imam for two hours and it was a healthy, quality conversation.

If all Muslims are terrorists by the acts of a few, then all Christians are Klansmen, no?

Everyone deserves representation. Freedom is freedom. It is not freedom if someone else is denied it.

A plurality of Americans seem to disagree with that assessment. One of our three local "conservative" talk stations' host was in convulsions over how dare a Muslim pray to God in a Christian Congress.

Some folks seem to be out of the reach of logic and reason.

I do see what you are saying. You do make a very good point for people to ponder.
