Today is a Wednesday here in Manila and I have no work for the next two days. Been like that for more than a year already but for some strange reason, I actually felt and thought that it was a Saturday earlier.
Must have been the fact that I was already on a 'day-off' countdown first thing in the morning. It felt weird.
Have you ever felt weird?

Truth be told, I have always considered Thursday and Friday as my weekend. Every time I mention that, friends would give me that silly look. Fools!!!
Absolute truths do not remain absolute at all. Didn't they say that change is the only permanent thing in the world? For every permanent marker, there is a liquid eraser available.
Now, given a choice, would you want to be a permanent marker or a liquid eraser? Why?

Speaking of a different type of change, don't you wish you always had the exact change for everything? Fares, tips, payments etc. , you'd be giving the exact amount and making life easier for you and the cashier... do you always ensure that you have enough change?

I always use a debit card. If I did have the exact change I think I might through the poor cashier off and it could be a problem for her for the remainder of the day.

I like this stream-of-consciousness writing--very creative! I think having exact change for everything is completely possible, but it would require lugging around an unwieldly amount of coins. Paying with a credit card is like having exact change, though!

nbaquero and celticeagle , iIminimize the use of plastic, both debit and credit cards, hence my penchant for bringing coins so I can pay the exact amount.

Thanks for the compliment AliCanary ! Well, not everything in Manila can be paid for using credit/debit cards. For eveything else, there's exact change!!! LOL!
