Comment spam at Persona...
Well well what have we here? SPAMMER ALERT!!!
MaeLou you or someone might like to keep an eye on this person...or maybe just throw them out the door.
I hate spam...of any kind. Don't like the food kind and definitely don't like the online kind.
I used to get stuff like this as messages at facebook, but it's been quite some time since it last happened...and I surely didn't expect it here.
I'm sure many others her likely got this same comment on their profiles...or maybe not...maybe I am just special lol
Oh well, maybe I should drop them an email...and tell them exactly what I think of them. 
But then they'd have my email address, and i don't want that happening.

Thank you for posting this, I got one too and as far as I can see, I can't remove it. Hopefully MaeLou or someone will look into this.

Yep, I got it too, and I think the same thing. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to flag comments or maybe users.

I have that on my profile as well. I noticed it early today. It's annoying that we can't delete the comments. Their account is still pending as well. I think that commenting anywhere on the site should be withheld until their account is approved.

Right now, we have it set up that pending members can still comment (but not post). I just denied their "application" so anything they posted anywhere should be gone :) They just "applied" this afternoon.

I haven't got any spam comments so far, thank goodness. Well, I think since there's now a like button for comments, admin should also put a flag link for spammers like that one.

Spam will be the end of us all and the end of the site as well. I'm glad that MaeLou did something about this already. The 'application that we have before accepting new members will greatly help everyone in keeping spam away from the site.

This issue should be addressed... users in the PENDING group will no longer be allowed to comment or write on anyone's profile.

On a side note, I am not a big fan of the food spam either. I mean, I ate it on visits to my great grandmother, who had spam, tomato soup and / or syrupy potatoes on the ready for our arrival each visit.
