Creme Egg outrage!

When I first read this story this morning, I was genuinely angry. So angry in fact, that after I had calmed down, I was shocked at how angry I got. I didn't realize until today that I cared so much about Creme Eggs. Of all things that I should care about, ISIS, our economic recovery, David Cameron being a twat and continually fucking up the country - but no. It was the change to Creme Eggs.

In case by some miracle you haven't discovered this yet, I'll give you the story. In 2011, Cadbury was bought through a hostile takeover by American company, Kraft. Since then cut-backs have been made in the form of job losses, and now changing the chocolate shell of Creme Eggs - an absolute outrage.

Now i'm not an expert and I certainly don't know the finances of this company, but what I do know is that the Creme Egg brand is worth an estimated £55 million, and around 200 million eggs are sold each year. This equates to roughly a shit-tonne of money - wanting any more is simply greedy.

Things certainly do change but I can not see this as a good one. Have a great day.

I know that they do not taste as nice as they used to years ago.

My wife (who is English) has informed me that I have no need to worry because Canadian creme eggs already use 'the crap chocolate' ..or something to that effect.

I really hate it when companies change the taste of their products or cancel the production of certain products!

Really, I have not noticed a change in the chocolate of the cream egg. I still think they are fabulous to eat. I am a big fan of them.
