Do Cats Make You Smile ?

I am often amused by cats. I live next door to a youngish man who has a lot of cats. He is a very quiet person and hardly ever gets into conversation,I think he smokes weed, even his cats smell of it.

He is polite enough but very nervous. he keeps his distance when I open the door to go out with my dogs, even though I tell him they are gentle he is still nervy.even though they are always on leads.

His cats aren't a bit bothered by my dogs, just the opposite ,they confront them and sometimes I smile as I am sure my tough dogs are a little unsure of these demon like cats that hiss and paw at the air,I must admit that I like them.

If he smokes and his cats smell of it, then maybe he keeps his distance in case HE smells of it too! I like both cats and dogs. Most animals can make me smile.

My cat Runt or Runty Dumpty was raised with my dearly departed dog Tasha. They both were best friends and buddies. Runt would often hug Tasha by the neck. They were a good pair...

Sometimes I think his cats are so brave to never be worried by dogs that they must be affected by his smoking as well.

Most animals make me smile, cats are no exception to that rule. Cats however have a sense of dignity that isn't seen in other animals and that makes them even more entertaining.

I had a cat once that confronted even the largest dogs a block away, scratching their nose. Dogs were terrified of "Lady".
