Introduction for UK_Writer

I live in the UK and have been writing for seven years online. Before this I was a content writer for other people's websites, before this I wrote training manuals and technical user documents for bespoke software. I spent many years in the IT industry, as a project manager and web project manager. I live on the south coast of the UK, where the weather's warmer! My time is my own and my current writing reflects my changing interests and life events. Having recently bought a house I've lots of home purchases to make, gardening to do - and possibly even to find one of those strange things that others call a "proper job" to ensure that the bills are paid on time!
I am currently also not completely inactive on Hubpages, Bubblews and DailyTwoCents. Although I have accounts on several sites that I just don't get round to writing on :)
I have a G+ account where I share a lot of my posts. I am not overly comfortable with social sharing of these random articles, without a niche, or specific focus, but I do it anyway :)

East Anglia is where I was born and brought up. I moved 20 years ago, over 300 miles away. Love the big skies and flat lands.

Me too, still trying to find my way round and discover/use all the features and work out how it all fits together and works.

I've a beach themed garden in mind. All low maintenance and palm trees - along with lots of shells and various water features as they become affordable or I can make them. I am not into digging things up and planting things though.

There's certainly no shortage of different sites to write for! So many, so little time - and so much effort/time involved in working it all out/getting established and finding your comfort zones to sit and write in.

I'm a Surreyite currently finding refuge in the eastern flatlands that you mention. Got tired of looking up to a handkerchief sized square of sky so decided to broaden my horizons. Literally as well as metaphorically.

Sounds like a very exciting career path! You must be very happy with your self accomplishments.

That surely appears to be a pretty design. I too like water features. I have a waterfall. Had a lotus pond too but when I spotted a snake I just got rid of it.
