From Frozen To Dinner In 16 Minutes

For Christmas my step-dad bought all of us kids a Nuwave Oven.

I have seen the infomercials, but never thought much about it. All I knew about it was that it is supposed to cook really quickly, even if the food is frozen

Well I forgot to defrost something for dinner last night and decided that it was the perfect time to try out the Nuwave Oven!

I grabbed some fish out of the freezer, seasoned it up and turned on the oven.

The book said to cook it for 8 minutes each side. I thought there was no way it'd cook my fish in 16 minutes and actually leave it moist.

16 minutes later, I had a beautifully cooked piece of fish. It worked!

I usually don't get all excited about kitchen gadgets that I see on TV, but this one actually does what it says!

How exciting to know that I can get home from work and have dinner on the table in less than 20 minutes! Even if I forget to defrost the meat!

I purposefully did not take the chicken out for dinner tonight, just so I could try it again! I'll let you know tomorrow how it turned out!

Anyone else here have a Nuwave Oven?

It'll be interesting to hear how the chicken turns out since it needs to be cooked more than the fish.

I am interested too!
I hope it cooks as well as the fish did. It was so easy and fast!

I have not heard of this. Sounds like a good investment for busy people!

Years and years ago when I was a pub landlady I went to a demo of a new super oven, must have been along the same lines as what you have. Things like that were only available as commercial equipment back then. I´ll be interested to know how the chicken turns out.
