must do better
Good evening everyone, hope you are all well. yes, it is me and I am still here.
Like many of you I found myself here after the debacle at the other site. As I was close to redeeming again, so in my head I had the grand idea of writing on both sites, at least until I reached the threshold on the other site.
Unfortunately what seems to have happened is that I hardly write on either site! But I am determined that I can do better. I will endeavour to post and comment more frequently on this site from now on. I can even access this site from work so I don't really have any excuse.
As an aside, does everyone have a ridiculously small font size as default when submitting a new post?

I know where you're coming from. I also had grand ideas of posting a lot on both sites, which just hasn't materialised. I can't access this one from work so I'm restricted to evenings/weekends on here.

Snap! That's exactly what i had planned to do but I find that I am enjoying myself so much on Persona Paper that I can't be bothered with Bubble Ooze any more. I'm hardly there at all now.

Yes to the font size. I, too, need to be more diligent about writing every day. I'm trying to write one post per day and comment on several. I have been very pleased with this site so far.

I only go to the other site to copy my reviews to the computer and delete the online version, at a rate of several a day. Once they're safe I'll look at my blog posts. I'm earning about a cent every couple of days so I MIGHT just squeak in a redemption if I keep interacting over there, but who knows how much longer the site will be in existence anyway, at this rate?

Yes. I have brought this to the notice of 'contact' and also elitecodex .
But there is a way. Just hold on to control and press the plus sign. If the size gets too big repeat the process but this time with the minus sign to get to the size you need. I am now using the control and plus sign to increase the size of my fonts here.

The font size doesn't bother me, but maybe I should make it bigger to accommodate my readers.
I hope you manage to redeem at the other site soon, so that you don't have to worry about it any more.

As far as I am concerned, the other site is just a memory. I do not tend to waste time with people who lie.I prefer to write on serious sites with serious people. Have a great evening!

ison1 and MelissaE - you do know you can change the font size? On the 'Submit New Article' page or in 'Edit' on an already published article you will find the toolbar. Clicking on 'Font Sizes' will change it and you can also change it by clicking on the 'H sizes' - the higher the number the smaller the font size. If you don't choose any font size you get the default size which is H4 - that's what I write all my posts in.

I only go there to read friends posts and comment on them really. My redeem amount is too low to worry about as I would never raise enough to claim it. I haven't had much time on here either unfortunately but I am trying to improve that

I also thought of juggling and keep forgetting what I've said where now ( which is not an uncommon occurrence in real life!) I've had little time to write anywhere apart from my own journal recently anyway.

I find the font quite comfortable, even with my none too great eyesight. It does depend on the size and resolution of your screen, though. If you're working on a mobile device, it might help to zoom in. I find a lot of folks choose an enormous font that actually makes it harder for me to read their content. It's best to only use larger fonts or header text for highlighting more important parts of a text. You don't need them for the entire post. Let the reader set the zoom to suit her needs, and you set the zoom for your own viewing at a comfortable magnification for you.

Hello:) One think I've noticed is that the font is smaller when typing the post than that which gets published. Maybe that is why some people post with such big font, it looks samller when they are typing

I honestly couldn't tell you, as I do all my writing offline and then just paste into the submit form. But yes, it's possible this affects people's choice of font sizes.
