Suddenly it just happened
I t's that time , the first time!
We thought she was prepared for this moment.
I thought I was prepared for this moment !
We have had the talk. We knew it was coming. We knew it would be soon. All the signs were there. And then it happened. Suddenly it just happened. She was caught off guard and so were we. We being her mother and I the grandma.
The school just called. Our little girl had a visitor this morning.. She is just a little upset. We were not prepared. Because it happened, suddenly it just happened !
Our little girl is growing up. Why Aunt Flo did you have to visit at school?
Gee Aunt Flo couldn't you have waited until she got home.

Hugs for your daughter. Aunt Flo's first visit, while expected, always is a surprise. I remember my first visit from her, thankfully I was with family so it wasn't so bad. It is good she has her mom and grandma to help her. Hope she is doing okay.

I remember when this happened to my eldest daughter for the first time and she cried for days. My youngest was much calmer and matter of fact when her turn came.

Oh dear not the ideal time for it to happen but at least you and her Mum were there to support her.
