What do you know about Fiverr?
I just submitted my first gig to Fiverr, and I'm wondering what to expect. I'm offering to do book reviews, which is something that I'm pretty good at.
I told my hubster last night that I'm ready to retire (sooner rather than later), but I need something besides my pension coming in. I don't want to overwhelm myself either especially while I'm still teaching as that takes about 60% of my time.
I published my first piece on Hubpages this morning; I'm quite proud of it. I'll share the link soon enough.
Speaking of writing sites, what are some other sites that you are happy publishing for?
Also, have any of you thought about creating educational resources and selling them online?
Well, I'm home for a snowday today, so I'm sure that I'll check back soon. I need to work on one of my storefronts as I've neglected it for a few months.
I also need to create my research projects for February.
I have so many things to do, but none of them seem to interest me right now. That's the bad side of working at home...the lack of motivation.
Enjoy your day!
Melissa

I have only bought from Fiverr and have been happy about what i received for the money I paid. I recently published a blog post with links to articles on Hubpages and PersonaPaper and I have shared it and other people have been invited to share too. If any of your posts fit into the latest blog post, let me know and I will be happy to add a link . http://meglearner.com/blog2/writing-for-money/ A number of people on here share to Facebook and to Tsu - https://www.tsu.co/meglearner

It can take quite some time before you make a sale but patience will pay off sooner than later.

I submitted my first gig this morning, and I've already gotten a response. I'd heard about the site, so I just Googled it and registered.

I do not have a Fiverr account. I will go there now but honestly I just do not have the time. I have registered at sites but have not done justice to any save Persona

Tried HubPages too but only have a few posts there so far. Also trying to get started on Fiverr. Looks like it would be hard to get sales if you're still new there.

I love Fiverr! I have four gigs on there and two of them are almost constantly requested. I would say use the 'promote your gig' feature to get it on Twitter, G+, Pinterest, Facebook, whatever social media you use. It will probably take a short while to get your first order but once you start, it'll roll from there. I think I waited about a month before my first order.
