My Poor Baby :(

So, my fiance and I noticed a rash on our one month old. It turns out it was an allergic reaction to Parent's Choice formula. She was on Similac in the NICU and Simliac at first when coming home, but we had our son on Parent's Choice after breastfeeding him for two weeks so I thought it would be okay for her, as well. It turns out, there is something in it that she's allergic to. She was having a lot of problems burping, too. She still has a bit of acid reflux, but that is something she has had since she was born. We have her on Similac now and the rash is almost completely gone. It breaks my heart to see that, because we don't know why she had the allergic reaction to Parent's Choice, but not Similac.

I used formula for about three months but as soon as my son started eating I switched to goat milk. I was sad I couldn't nurse longer.

I breastfed my son for two or three weeks and still am sad I couldn't last as long as I did, but that experience is why my daughter is on formula...

Oh gosh. That sucks. My son never really did drink formula so we never had that problem. He was strictly breastfed until he was a year old. He still nurses now even at 2 and a half but only at night and not for the last three or four nights.
