Newbies Are In For A Fun Time Here ~ oh Yes
Leaders are not necessarily born, I would like to think I am a good leader at work even though I was born quite shy, behind shyness lies a million opportunities and I am so pleased I had it kicked out of me when I joined Her Majesties Forces, not literally you understand I mean there was one occasion which well is best forgotten .. now to the point of this written piece and the subject just happens to be the Newbie. I am so pleased I am no longer the Newbie on this voluptuous site even after quite possibly being the butt of the jokes as I lay here in my sick bed for approximately 40 hours when I could have been enjoying myself surfing the overcrowded net.
If there is one piece of advice I would give to the Newbie (hate that word!.. so why do you keep using it?) new member, it is to walk tall with your head held high and kiss my .. hmm no eh let's start again, I would like to think the new member is here for the right reasons which are, fun eh fun and eh f .. friendship. Anyone can tell anyone that the money doesn't count as a serious subject but hey they don't have my privilege of a nice, interesting, deeply satisfying and god dam awful job I will have to go back to tomorrow *in tears as he speaks*.. God help them all!
But let me say that my last days on another site were hell even though I knew I was going to miss some great people who I didn't deserve to have as connections, they were wonderful people and *wipes away a tear* will never forget them. It is kind of like Alice in Wonderland being online sometimes, a world of make believe where things can come alive if you think hard enough, or is that just inside my mind, don't answer that.
My real point of this post is fairly obvious, do not take yourself seriously and whilst watching the 'your bank' tick over remember to say a little prayer that the advertisers and readers have hit a peak (as in a peaks and troughs chart) on that day .. we all need to motivate ourselves and each other so here goes.
YOU WILL BE INSPIRED AND YOU WILL BE A GREAT WRITER

Good morning from someone who just entered the world of online writing...at least on sites like this one. Believe me, I will be myself, which can be so unfortunate for some. I'm also quite shy, that's why I chose to be a teacher. I can interact with kiddos all day long, but adults leave me flabbergasted. Today, I'm also home as I've built up so many sick days that I had to use some or lose them. Oh, the heartbreak of a first-world existence. Love and Kisses from across the pond.

Yes I'm better off letting other people do that Ant, he lost me when he didn't apologise. The two different sides to him was very confusing. One minute he is providing this site for the masses so they can share in the profit, the next he is telling people that they must be patient and that it was everyone else's fault except his that the money dried up. We were telling him from the beginning of the year to do something but did he? .. no! The mistrust of the people came back to haunt him. Power crazed individuals never realise until it is too late, he was blinded by his vision.

, I didn't give a monkeys uncle about my last payment, I was on about $40. The principle of opening up a site for the people then using authoritarian language, like a God looking down from wherever, he ha lost it in my eyes. No blame on his part, I could go on.. lol

I've been here longer than both of you and I can say that mostly, the standard of writing of the active members is far better than other sites I could mention. As soon as the not-so-great writers find out they're not going to be able to coin it hand over fist, they run away and never return. Or if they're truly stupid, they plagiarise something and get banned anyway.

I'm not expecting too many of the plagiarists because I don't think most of them can write good enough English to create the kind of intro that will get them onto PP in the first place. Hope I'm right!

"There- There" Ged (((here's a fatherly man hug for you))) I also had 'some' of the shyness 'kicked' out of me in the Forces and it did a great job of teaching me 'self discipline !
About this site ? I have a good 'feeling' about the way it is 'built' and managed ! I feel more at 'home' here than I did at that B site and I use that 'B' in more ways than one ? I hope that Maelou and elitecodex realise just how 'huge' this will get. I feel it will be an exponential growth!
