How Do You eBay?

I have a lot of different income avenues online, and the one that seems to be the most popular with people I talk to is eBay. I haven't seen huge income form it yet, but others seem to be making upwards of $75 a week. Given that it improves your photography and sales skills to list things on eBay, I consider that a pretty good income (since you can flip the other skills in new avenues).

But how do they do it? My items never seem to sell for much, and then if I am not very careful, the cost of shipping materials means the item is a wash. We recently were given a bunch of stuff for free, so selling that is a net gain all around, but what about when that runs out?

How do you sell on eBay and make it profitable? Any tips for a beginner? And I already know about the free boxes at the post office! ;)

I was connected to a man on Hubpages and also bubblews who makes a great living from eBay, his pseudonym is Hawiianodysseus, see if you can find him on either site for some really great tips.

I don't sell on ebay. I will on occasion buy from eBay but that's about it. If I had anything nice to sell, than I would probably choose eBay!
