Water Water Everywhere

Since September last year I pretty much ditched fizzy drinks and took up drinking water, 2lts a day. A lot of the time I drink flavoured water just to keep the changes there or I think I might get bored and the fizzy drinks may start creeping in again. The flavoured waters do have a few sugars in them but 1lt comes to 30 calories so over a whole day 60 calories through water isn't too bad, especially when I am up and down to the loo most of the day, the down side to drinking all this fluid.

Due to drinking all of this water my skin condition has improved considerably and it has also contributed to my weight loss, my advice to anyone wanting to start improving their life ditch the sugary drinks and increase your water intake.

Thats great I also felt a lot better wen I gave up drinking soda. And you do lose weight without changing anything else.

Great move. Once you get used to it, you won't want the fizzy drinks anymore.

I agree with you, I drink loads of water each day and it really helps my body plus running to the toilet all the time is great exercise haha

I drink a lot of water...but perhaps not as much as I should be drinking. I drink a lot of coffee as well so I think the two sort of cancel each other out!

It's a great habit to get into. I manage to drink lots of water in summer, but find it hard to drink water in winter. I definitely see benefits when I do though. I don't know why people bother with expensive skin creams because drinking lots of water is the best skin treatment you can ever have.

I only ever drink black tea (no sugar) or water. It's all I have drunk for years apart from one glass of Guinness on St Patrick's night for my dad and one on his birthday

I like to use carbonated water sometimes, just for a change to make life just that little bit more exciting. You' right, water is vital for good skin and I have hardly any wrinkles despite being no spring chicken.

That is wise! Fizzy drinks are kind of addictive. I haven't had sodas for years. Once in a while I'll get plain soda to have with lemon, that's a nice fizz.

I drink only water and a cup of coffee during the day. They say it's good to drink water first thing when you get up in the morning.

Thanks for this information that I know already but never go near water too much. I am delighted to know that it is aiding in weight loss which I earnestly want to reduce too. But somehow I cannot drink water regularly.

I drink a lot of water daily. Water has many health benefits and the main advantage is detoxification.
