"Re" Introducing Myself

Over the last few days I have been doing a ton of self reflecting. After "Telling Myself Like It Is" on Bubblews, I made a public apology to my friends on Facebook and by doing so, not only have I found who my true friends are I came to realize how strong my bonds are with those friends.

Now I need to "re" introduce myself to all of them.

Ten years of being MIA, I have changed. Things I use to like that I no longer like, all of the new interests I now have and letting them back into my personal life.

It is not going to be easy, but then again, life isn't easy. Though this is a Huge step in the right direction of my recovery.

I am not understanding why you have to apologize to your friends on Facebook regarding Bubblews. That site is a big disappointment to me. If you encouraged them to join, it is not your fault that it was mismanaged.

Sorry, I should have explained myself better. Shortly after getting married and having children we moved to the countryside and I cut myself off from all of my friends. I didn't have a vehicle, nor a phone so it made it easier to "justify" what I was doing and when I did acquire them I didn't make any attempt to contact them. The post on Bubblews is me telling myself how wrong I had been. How I never considered the feelings of my friends or my family and that I need to take responsibility for my actions. So my apology was a result of me being honest with myself, but I didn't want to apologize to my friends on Bubblews for one, they would have never seen it and frankly I didn't want to get paid for it.

I'm glad you feel you're moving forward with your healing. That's so important!

BTW, you know it's OK to link to your own posts if you want to, right? I often link to 1-2 of my own posts (both here and elsewhere) when I write here on PP. It actually helps to add Google juice to both my posts and the site emoticon

Very important ☺
I knew that you could link to certain things as long as they were not referrals but I wasn't sure about to Bubblews or such and didn't want to break any rules :)

When in doubt, remember you can always ask! Somebody will usually answer very quickly if you post a question - or you can contact MaeLou or elitecodex emoticon
