Squats and Planking

I have started to add some planking sessions into my exercise routine and also some squats (my legs are currently aching!!) so far I can make up to 30 seconds planking which may not seem like very long but it is long enough for me!! I do 30 squats at a time, I am going to start trying it out with a heavy backpack on my back to help as well.

I have also downloaded an app called Seven (I don't know if this is available on other phone but I use it on my iPhone) and it is a 7 minute work out which is great, I start running my bath and while it is filling up I go through my 7 minute work out add in the planking and squats and then jump in the bath!

I will get fit and lose weight this year!!

I am trying to walk more as well but the weather has been pretty rough last few days

We did squats and planks amongst other things at Bootcamp, I can sympathise with you we use to have to do 2 minute planks.

I have heard of the app, but have never downloaded it. I think I will look into getting it so I can add some exercise to my routine

It is really good, I don't know if it was free or if it was just a few pence I don't tend to spend more than £1 on apps so it wouldn't have been too much

I did the 30 day abs and 30 day squat challenges last year - the planking was so tough!

You have motivated me to do planking again. I was doing it as part of PT for my back. Might be good to start them again to build up my core.
