89.94 to Go

Y'all thought I didn't make it today didn't ya? Well, I finally did. Just got done with my walk a few minutes ago. A very late walk today. But, I did a longer walk. I only had 1.94 to get under 90 miles and I was determined to do it. I did it. I walked 2 miles tonight! It took me 50 minutes, but I did it.

I don't really care how slow I am right now. I'm just working on my challenge. Eventually, I do want to get faster so I can do a 5k in the allotted time, but that is far in the future. I have to build up stamina and get my oxygen to staying up before doing that. I'm just happy to be doing as well as I have been.

My friend invited me to do it on Facebook and then I invited anyone here to join who wants to. They can even copy my graphic and use it if they want. I have a couple people doing it here with me.

Every step takes you closer to your goal! And that will mean better health. Maybe my next blog article ought to be on exercising for health. I think there must be a number of posts on here that I could promote.

You are inspiring me to walk. I have an app that tells me how many steps I did so I think I may set myself a challenge around that.

I am not in a hurry. The writing online for money post took a few weeks to write, so am not starting another just yet. Will let everyone know when I do. But no harm thnking of an article to write on here that is ready for linking. emoticon :grin:

No, no, sorry I mixed the digits up, I actually did 2.3 miles today not 3.2 miles I apologize. I think I am capable of doing 5K with no major problems. I know you will get there pretting soon!

Congratulations! Good luck on meeting your goals. I do not mind walking but I hate the cold weather, so in the summer most of my walking is done inside on a treadmill. It isn't the best way (scenery isn't that great); but it's doing something. Keep up the great work!

We may go walking outside tomorrow but tonight will be the treadmill again for me as well.
