How Long Does It Take You To Reach $20 @ PP

Hi guys!

As a new member of Persona Paper I have a question for the old timers here. How long does it take you before you can redeem? I read in the "How things work" section here that 5,000 coins equals $7.00 or so and I was wondering how much time do you have to spend here and how many posts do you have to put up before you can reach $20? At the other place I'm blogging at I have earned .20 yesterday which is a drastic cut after all of the recent changes. The owner of that site put up another post about how we all need to stick together to make advertisers come back and that we would be paid more if that happened. I notice at PP they have some pretty good advertisers like and so that's good news. Any suggestions on how one would earn money quicker on Persona?

I'm fairly new here as well so the only thing I have learnt so far is to just interact as much as you can for now and when the site gets more traffic, the exchange rate will be higher making it easier and faster to earn more. Cheers!

I think same as below comment. As for the other site, I´m sick of all the smoke and mirrors.

From what i know, the more you interact and post, faster your coins generate, for me with ten cents per day, six months to get that figure

Im new here so earnings are pretty low at the moment, I think it takes time to build up

As with any web blogging forum, the only way to bring in readers and commentators to your articles is to interact with others. You can't expect people to come unless you are seen posting elsewhere. If your commentary on an article gets the interest of a person enough they will visit your profile to see what you have posted that will pique their interest. To reap you must sow. There is a lot of truth to that statement so get yourself intertwined in other peoples articles.

I am new here too and have earned just over 1000 coins in 8 days, so it may take a while. But I guess the more effort I put in, the more coins I'll get emoticon

Looks like I have the same answer as the ones you have already received. I am still new and wondered the same question. Time will tell I guess.

FancyFree74 I have not redeem yet, but from my experience I can tell you that depends on how much time can you spend here, and how many posts you publis per day. A rather achievable goal for me is getting 50 coins a day, with one post and leaving about 20 or 30 comments, so at that pace it would take me 260 days (almost 9 months) . If I double the number of posts/comments it woud take me 4 and half months.

So if you can make 4 posts or so, and read and comment actively, you can probably do that in a couple of months.

Sort of depressing news isn't it? Especially if you really don't have that much time to spend here. But I do believe as more people come here the owners will be able to work out a higher rate of compensation. I think it's still higher than the site that shall be unnamed.

Interesting comments for the new members, which would include me :)

seeing the current exchange rate displayed in the top left corner (0.0015), i can imagine it could take a lot of time spent here to earn 20 dollars. So it's not easy money, we have to work hard to be able to redeem at least once in a month.

This is a question that I think all newbies are asking. Thanks for posting this as I had been planning on writing a post asking the same question.

I think as with anything it depend on the amount of time you spend her. On the upside though posts here will show up on goggle searches and you do get paid for views from people outside persona paper. so it is worth sharing your posts on social networks

I'm fairly new here as well. One plus I can see is that you get paid for commenting on other writer's articles so, like others have mentioned, interacting with others will get you to your goal a lot faster.

I'm new as well, and so I really can't say anything one way or the other.

I have been here since the end of July. I average about one post a day and I interact for about half an hour a day minimum most days. I am currently 76% of where I need to e to redeem. I'm trying to post more, but life will also require more of me offline this month. It will probably take me at least another month to redeem, since some of my coins were earned through referrals. I probably wont have as many of those now.

Since I am new here as well, I found the comments to be very interesting. Obviously, it will take me a while since I work full-time and cannot be on here as much as I would like. However, I'll take what I can get as far as meeting new people, exposure to my photos and such, and having good interaction with the members here.

I'm at less that ten cents so far with 3 posts and a little tweeting. That's still better than bubbles where I am STUCK. I'm looking for a paid writing site where I can post essays on music education and performance. Hope this is it.

It all depends on how many articles you write daily, the number of views and the comments that you submit as well so I really don't know but I can give you some expectations according to your stats and the number of articles that you have so far compared to the time n stuff... So I did my calculations for you..
You need 30-60 days to reach this minimum and that's if you keep your activity the same as it is now.
btw thanks for following, I've followed you too :)

I'm new here, too, and relatively new to this whole concept, but the comments below seem to be of one accord: Post as many articles a day as you can, comment on posts by those your following and who follow you, and build your following by posting interesting articles. Most of all, be patient.

AsADrivenLeaf wrote on January 12, 2015, 6:03 AM

I guess, it's keep-posting-and-interacting. You're doing great with the number of unique views on this post alone. Combine your other posts'stats, you'll go way ahead before you realize it. emoticon  Good luck.

I have no idea how long it would take. I guess it all depends on how active a member is.
