A New Adventure in Writing

So since the other website I was writing at seems to only bring in .10 per day I started outweighing my options.
I signed up here at Persona Paper a few days and I'm really liking it here so far. I signed up with another website called Hubpages and they are really professional over there. Your posts have to have 1500 characters and you can add multiple pictures and links into your hubs. I submitted one about the Seattle Seahawks and I'm really hoping it will get approved. After it is approved I will join Google Adsense and try to earn some cash that way. I just don't know how many posts I will be able to write for them because you have to carefully plan everything out before writing, and I'm more of a spontaneous writer. I think that bubblews will not be my priority anymore, I will focus more of my time here and on hubpages. Wish me luck!

Welcome to Persona Paper! Since you've been here a few days I'm sure you've already found out how great the people are here. I find the interactions here much better than that other site.

It's gone rather quiet on another site now, I still need get the hang of it here.

There are strict rules about the quality of hubs and even if you pass these rules your hub would still be un-featured if it fails to attract views for certain time. I like it here more at PP.

I wish you the best of luck in all your writing/earning endeavors. It sounds like you are taking a lot on.

Bes tof luck to you. I've also put Bubblews on the back burner. I'm looking for new sites to write and earn on.

Thank you. Yes it's on my back burner too! Hub pages is really cool except difficult for a person like me to write on.
FancyFree74 wrote on January 6, 2015, 8:46 PM
Thank you. I'm just trying to keep myself busy! Yes, it's a lot to take on but if I can't handle it I will have to drop some of them.

Yes, I felt a warmer welcome from the members here. This is probably my favorite write site!
FancyFree74 wrote on January 6, 2015, 8:49 PM
Something is different over there. Many members do not trust the other site and so they are not writing quality content. Trust is everything in life and without it you can't succeed.

Yes everyone here has made me feel welcome, and the owner here even commented on one of my posts which made me feel good.

FancyFree74 I tried HubPages but I couldn't get into it. And besides, Google banned me from AdSense. Strange. I even appealed it 4 times. I didn't do anything for them to ban it. SO I figured they just didn't want to pay me any money. So I stay away from HubPages. I do like it here very much and I am still on the B site. I am giving them another chance.
FancyFree74 wrote on January 6, 2015, 9:18 PM
yes I agree, I too am not feeling right there. That sucks that you had to go through that with them, it's not fair that you did nothing and got punished for it. As far as the B site I will remain a member there for now but it has left a really bad taste in my mouth.

FancyFree74 I know what you mean bit the B site. But I am giving them another chance. I figure, why not. I think we all knew they could have never kept paying that kind of money for long. So, it makes sense hat they did. But I know it all comes down to the honesty. If they can redeem themselves on that front then I think I would be okay with it.

Good luck! I am also at Hubpages, and I agree it is a very professional site. At one point I had around 35 hubs, but I whittled it down to 14 now because I wasn't getting great traffic on some of them. It takes a while to get going, but it is a very legit site. I also love it here so far. Here's to big things in the future!

I read arvinds post and it makes sense to me now. I'm still hurt over decisions that were made but i will hang in there until the good news comes.

wow that's a great accomplishment, i had a hard time doing one! lol
Yes I'm sure you will have a very successful future because you are a great writer!

Thank you! It was slow going at first. I think it took me a few hubs before getting Adsense approved. But I am glad I followed through with it.

bubblews was a learning curve; it was my first and a painful learning curve at that; but i am thanking them for teaching me at realizing and directing me at other sites, like PP. charging it all to experience

Good luck on HubPages. I've been there for years and have two accounts there. Don't get your hopes up too high for earning a lot there. One account has 50 featured hubs and it has earned .43 cents so far this month. I've made .23 this month on tsu and $1.14 on Persona Paper, but that includes payment for two referrals. I can't check my older account with about 80 featured hubs right now because IE doesn't want to open. I'm logged into different account on each browser.
FancyFree74 wrote on January 7, 2015, 9:20 PM
yes everything does happen for a reason, we would have never found PP if it wasn't for bubblews!

BarbRad are you serious? People should get compensated well because it takes so much time and effort in making a good post! And congrats on getting so many featured hubs thats amazing! I don't know if I would stay of Hubpages if it doesn't earn that much but it is fun to do if you have the time!
Hollyhocks100 wrote on January 8, 2015, 9:15 AM
Don't even bother to join the payment scheme on Hubpages until you have a lot of published hubs, you will be invited to join right away, but it never happens and can get complicated. Be careful to choose your topics and title well too. I gave up on HP because the work involved didn´t match the earnings and out of over 50 hubs, half have been taken off either by me or HP and of the remaining only 2 actually earn any money. Random writing very seldom earns anything. Thanks for your welcome here BTW and i hope you don´t mind me giving you an insight about HP, I learned the hard way.
