In love of his daughter...

Al-Arian, The CEO of Pimco, the Finance Management Company has resigned from his job sometimes back. He was getting almost $100 million as annual salary there. The reason for his daughter,

Isn't this amazing, how can love for a daughter be the reason to leave one's high-paid job.

Actually as Al-Arian told, one day he scolded his daughter for not doing brush. In return the daughter gave him a list of 22 moments when he was not with him, there were like her annual functions, her first football match, her first day at school etc. he missed on the lovely moments for one single reason, work.

He was so much moved by the act of his daughter that he resigned from job and now he is trying to fulfill the fatherly promise and make up with the lost time and to give as much time and love to his daughter as possible.

I'm sure that he already had a lot of money to fall back on, but the thought is nice regardless.

I can't even see myself making 20k a year much less 100m...

He must have a nice bank account to walk away from a job like that. But it is a sweet (bit maybe too late) gesture. I hope he can make it up to his daughter,

hmmmm.. a nice gesture undoubtedly. But there are people who can't afford to give up work who still make time to attend the important things their children do.

When you have that much money I guess you can not work for a bit. High paying jobs come at a cost. Either your time or time away from your family or even your health. You can not get that time back with your kids!
