They're starting to go overboard at THAT site...

I won't use the site name in the title or this post because I feel it is pimping for views. But we all know what site I am referring to. I have not written there since the New Year's Eve bomb dropped but I do follow my friends and watch the comments on the CEO's post. Tonight the tides turned. It went from very angry people expressing their disappointment and some very supportive ones vowing to stay and help grow the site again to plotting the site's demise.

I am owed $50 that they took from my pending redemption and another $600 that was promised to me via email MANY times by the CEO for 11 redemptions that somehow just happened to be forgotten to be paid. Everyone around me was paid but here I sat waiting and not receiving the money promised. Divide and conquer you see. Pay some of the people all of the time and when someone complains, there will be people ready to defend the site to the end. That is what is happening now.

Although I was lied to many times and this is not a TOS matter but a personal one since it was done via one on one email, I don't want to see the people who choose to stay there lose the site. But now, furious members are plotting to get rid of all adverting so the site will be forced to close due to lack of funds. They claim they got all but two ad companies to suspend ads. I have NO idea is that is true but that's going too far.

People were hurt. People were lied to. People were extremely disappointed. The site was never good at communicating and the way they did his last cut was atrocious. It showed a total lack of empathy for the loyal members and the following post by the CEO is even more insulting. He was AFRAID OF THE MEMBERS so he didn't tell them he couldn't pay them. Sigh. Youth.

Anyway, despite my personal feelings about the actions there, I don't like the idea of the members killing the site. I won't be there but my friends, people I have a connection with, will be. Some opted to stay and I don't hold it against them. It's a personal decision everyone has to make. I couldn't continue, more because of the email lies than taking money from my redemption. I was just...done with the trust and sick of the lies. But some friends love it still and find it therapeutic.

If the site closes, they will find a new place to go. (I know of one right here!) but I would much prefer it to be because of the owners not disgruntled members. I believe it will end up being a free site with some bonuses or sweepstakes or something in time is it survives. I think even really angry members should stay away from trying to tear the site down. They can complain through proper channels but to try to attack by forcing the site to close down is not much better than the site's behavior. I also heard some whispers about a major hack and spamming plot.

I hope it doesn't happen. The site is on life support but it may stay alive. It has some loyal members willing to stick it out. If it can find its footing, well, good for them. I won't go back but I won't be a part of destroying the site.

Karma will take care of what needs taking care of. I don't think members should go TOO far. Expressing themselves is great. Leaving, deleting posts, complaining to the BBB and other places - all fine. Hacking, spamming and trying to pull ads off the site to force it to shut down? It lowers people to the same level as they feel the site owner has lowered himself to. I never want to hear that the site owners had wonderful things on the horizon but terrible members caused the site to fail. I want THEM to admit that THEY failed. The members didn't cause this mess, they did. I want to see them fail due to mismanagement and arrogance, not take the easy way out and let members tear down the site.

I'll pass. I can live without the nonexistent money they owe me and I will just move along quietly and let whatever happens...happen.

Wow, this is interesting to hear. Although I understand your position, personally I have no sympathy for the owners, and I think the existing members are better off without it. I find it kind of amusing. If I wasn't suddenly deleted today (for being openly critical of the site) I would probably be having a peek at the circus. I don't think the site will survive, at least not what it intends to be.

Telynor wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:45 AM

If I could, I would delete every post that I have there, as I put a lot of time and effort in there. You're right, I prefer to let Karma do the dirty work and I can sit back in great satisfaction and smile. I do think that the owners of that nameless site made some big mistakes, and ones that I suspect will finish it for good. Working against the membership and trying to cover up is always a bad idea and nearly always fatal. Anythow, may you enjoy a long life and great prosperity here.

soupdragon wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:47 AM

I think the site in question was milked to death, frankly, and people were on a very good thing for the first year or so - me included. It had it's problems with the fakes and the spammers but I also feel there were a lot of quite greedy people on there, if they are to be believed when they say they were redeeming every other day. I don't know why they are surprised if the site has run out of money. I do feel sorry for all those genuine people who wrote mainly for the love of it and for a bit of pin money, but the ones who took it way too seriously and tried to turn it into a 'job' perhaps ought to realise that they are missing the point about what these writing sites are supposed to be.

Shadi wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:49 AM

I don't blame them for feeling that way. The problem is way beyond money. That site treated respectful writers as beggars and at the end refused even to pay them for their work. If some people don't mind to be treated that way let them stay. But I feel closing the site by hacking or click bombing would only be in favor of site owners. I think they might be looking for a valid reason to close.

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:49 AM

I have ZERO sympathy for that little...for...the owner and his merry band of thieves. But I know people who truly feel the site has helped them through tough emotional times (deaths of loved ones etc.). I know they are hanging on for dear life. However, I would like to see the site gone. Just not because of the members but because of their own incompetence. it's close.....

onelove wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:50 AM

That was quite a new year gift they gave us!But it's ok we shall pick the pieces and move on.The online world is a roll of wheels.

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:52 AM

I am deleting my posts and what a process. Ugh. They won't even let us have access to our own posts! I have to delete the top 100 then new ones take its place. I have a LOT of posts so it will be a while. They may ban me first of course and that would stink because they would have my stuff and I would not be able to republish it at some point.

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:55 AM

I agree about greedy people. I wrote about 3 posts a day, often less. I could have done 10 but I didn't do the "Good Morning, Good Night" type posts. Then again, the site allowed all that. People were making hay while the sun shined as they say. The site should have cut back the number of posts to 5 day or taken other steps to get some quality but they didn't want quality. I don't think they knew what they wanted.

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 4:58 AM

Funny. No one mentioned click bombing which is a sure fire way to make them lose Google. But privately they may be. I want to see the site gone. I just don't want them to play-the victim. "We only did we had to do and you ruined it all. We had FABULOUS things ready to launch!" I would rather read them say they simply can't do it, they messed up, they're broke and goodbye. I would smile knowing that they HAD to come down off their high horses and admit they screwed up.

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 5:04 AM

I really wonder why they chose New Year's Eve to tell us about the redemptions. It seems so very mean spirited. Man, I REALLY don't like them there. They have played God for so long and expect that they will treated like God again. They are seeing that not that many people care anymore if they are banned. They are really letting the site have it. The loyal ones annoy me a bit but it's their choice. They will get screwed over again.

TheLambLiesDown wrote on January 5, 2015, 5:40 AM

I think what angered me the most was the thread where they announced no redemptions prior to November 11th would be paid...they were so afraid of the backlash that they didn't allow comments on that thread...then when Arvind posted his 'explanation', everyone unleashed...

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 5:51 AM

They started out allowing comments because I commented. And it wasn't pretty. Then they erased them all and closed comments. Now I think he is letting people exhaust themselves and staying quiet and eventually will erase the comments and hope to move on with his little core group. He's not at all business savvy nor is anyone on his staff. "Bear"Is actually being very rude in the new thread. WHO do they think they are?

MsTina wrote on January 5, 2015, 5:53 AM

I'm not going to take part in the plot but I am upset at their business practices. I was paid everything I was owed except my last redemption that was cut by $20 and is still pending but I'm still angry. I'm not going to write there anymore. I don't think the handful of loyal members are enough to sustain the site.

quickchai wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:03 AM

I am with you here.. I am also owed a lot of redemptions and yea, I believe that all money down the drain and I have left the site but yes indeed I made a few friends there who opted to say and like you I respect their decision but I will not waste more energy on the site and I will simply opt to look at other sites where my efforts are much more valued

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:16 AM

I agree. I wish I would see a PayPal notification for my $650 owed plus the $60.00 pending (after taking out $50) but I know that won't happen. I really believed he wanted to make things right with me and all his emails were just BS. It makes me so angry. But I will just let the site shrivel up and die and, If it doesn't, it would take ages to make anything there now.

PattyTherre wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:20 AM

Yep. I am enjoying looking at the other sites and comparing as well as seeing people I "know" from Bubblews there. It seems even if people are staying, they realized not to put all their eggs in on basket. You never should because sites die everyday. The net is so fickle. I would like to see my friends who are still there wake up and realize this was NO mistake but very calculated and well thought out.

MsTina wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:34 AM

Since November 13th, I've made less than $19. True, I don't write there much but it would take years for me to get to $50.

phoenixmaid wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:48 AM

Sadly money is a very emotive subject and when you mess with peoples money you will often see a side of them you don't like. I don't approve of underhand tactics to sabotage the site but i am in no way surprised by the fact that some people feel justified in taking this sort of action. personally I don't believe in holding on to anger it just does you more harm in the long run and ties you to the person/site who wronged you for a lot longer than is healthy.

paperdaisyflower7 wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:51 AM

I am just keeping my account open just in case there will be a miracle and they will pay :) maybe write once a week to reach the $50 and wait and see

GedWrites wrote on January 5, 2015, 7:10 AM

You are right the point about that site is the ethical value or lack of it, supposed to be a paying social network which came about after the selling of FB for billions. The fact is it is unfortunately run by nice guys who don't have a clue about business.. it's a real shame.

PineMartens wrote on January 5, 2015, 7:18 AM

OMG I'm glad I'm only down $50.53! I'd be livid if I were waiting on $600. I'm still there but I feel like I've been blacklisted - since posting I've not been getting more than 15 rates and I still need another $20 to redeem. Won't be reaching that in a hurry and goodness knows if I'll ever see that payment either.

Kat- wrote on January 5, 2015, 7:33 AM

I'm not surprised and unless they are convinced to stop I think they will be successful in killing the site. I've been on a few sites when members revolted due to issues, how it's handled predicts whether the site will survive. I've already deleted all my stuff there, as of yesterday my account is still there though, but I don't plan on going back.

beachchair wrote on January 5, 2015, 7:36 AM

I will admit it I bailed. I am still hanging onto the hopes I will get paid. For me it is only about 100. I figure God will send it when I really need it or it just wont show up. Either way I will move on. I landed here and am pretty excited about it.

FernandoSHA wrote on January 5, 2015, 7:50 AM

I wrote over 700 original articles in 6 months and they never paid me a cent for the $769.95 they owe me, giving the flimsy reason that they cannot pay me because of the high incidence of fraud in my country. Losing money is fine with me but losing it because I was fooled is one big issue for me. It was even worse that they made a sweep of an accusation against my countrymen which I cannot take sitting down. I wrote my last 2 articles there which started people to speak up. Before that, everyone was afraid to say a word against them, afraid to be deleted. I made a direct challenge to the CEO in my last post and he chickened out.You might be surprised I stayed 6 months - it was because of the friendship with some connections I came to be close with. I'm sure karma will catch up on them.

inertia4 wrote on January 5, 2015, 8:22 AM

PattyTherre You know, I belonged to a social site once that some members didn't agree with the admin. By the way, the admin of the social site was real nice. Anyway, they had it in for him and scammed the site until it had to close. I hate that. Even on the B site, people should just let it go. It is what it is. I am still there and will be there. But I will tread lightly. I don't want to see them fail, I do want to see them succeed. I still believe they got into the site without realizing what could happen. Then they got scared and lied to the members. Not good business practice. But I do believe they truly wanted to do something different. Maybe now that things are down they might just do that. But, in order to do that, they need to come clean and be totally honest with the members. They also have to spell out how the earnings are being generated and to put some sort of counter or table on the site showing the current rates. Honesty is what they need. But being here just makes me feel so good. I am glad I found this site when I did. And now, if you have noticed, there are many site popping up like the B site and just sites paying people to write. I don't know how long they will be around though. This site seems solid and grounded. Although I thought that about the B site when I joined and so did many others. Anyway, this is a great post. I will be seeing you here. Happy New Year.

AliCanary wrote on January 5, 2015, 8:29 AM

Eh, they owe me some money, but I still made close to a thousand bucks for writing my silly crap, so hey. I'm just gonna move on.

Anja wrote on January 5, 2015, 9:40 AM

I agree with you on all of that. I have spent many hours being angry at BB for the months I spent wondering if I would ever see my money. It wasn't pay some people all the time for me, though I did eventually get all my money. But it took months and months. Why did they not pay others? I think they really ran out of money and that money they paid out in November wasn't ad revenue, it was investment ca pital. I am still there, and I am here. I have been here for six months. I am checking out some other places, too. But I am not going to work for the demise of any site. If those who lost money work to kill the site, they are going to hurt innocent members and will be just as guilty of that as the owners they hate.

wolfgirl569 wrote on January 5, 2015, 9:52 AM

I have not seen any of that yet but only go to it a couple of times a day now. Like you I am waiting to see if I get my last redemption.

Hollyhocks100 wrote on January 5, 2015, 9:57 AM

I think if we are really honest about it, many knew the payments of old were excessive for internet writing that is mainly fluff, and I for one could see the writing on the wall, but just didn´t realise things would go so bad so fast. I do agree that some people are taking things too far, none is going to uphold their claims, and take Bibles to court, and using excessive spite will get them nowhere either.

rjsezack wrote on January 5, 2015, 9:57 AM

I suppose you are talking about Bubblews. They did do a number on the people. I cannot believe so many are still there.

msiduri wrote on January 5, 2015, 11:11 AM

It's always been a split because some people got paid and other didn't. I confess that I have received all my redemptions. I have about $48 in the bank and the moment, so under the terms of usage, I am not owed anything. And the was the bank has been moving the past couple of weeks, it's going to be quite while be before that amount gets to the $55 where I'll cash out. But I understand the feelings of people who lost hundreds. And if the site had to renege on the promises, they could have at least showed a little class. They didn't.

Kasman wrote on January 5, 2015, 2:51 PM

I've just come from Bubble Ooze and there is no lack of adverts there. In fact, there was little sign of posts bad-mouthing the site.

BodieMor wrote on January 5, 2015, 3:08 PM

I consider this a lucid and level-headed viewpoint...

phoenixmaid wrote on January 5, 2015, 3:17 PM

Angry unhappy posts have been getting deleted pretty quickly, there have been a lot of them over the last few days

BodieMor wrote on January 5, 2015, 3:18 PM

My dear friend lost money on that site - money she had accounted for and depended on. However, her viewpoint is more like yours. She feels it was good while it lasted, the owners are young and probably misguided (getting in over their heads) and she will very much miss the friends she made there if they do not join the rest of you here. But she is not "going postal" over her losses... I commend her for that. I cannot imagine why anyone would want to "get even" on a level that smacks of middle school justifications. I'm hoping for everyone's sake (especially hers) that this turns into a satisfying site wherein to write, make friends and be well-compensated for time and effort spent. Let the other sink or swim...

WordChazer wrote on January 5, 2015, 3:47 PM

I earned one cent in 24 hours. My time there is now limited to finding links to articles I forgot I wrote with the help of the G-Gods' search engine... Once I have located as many links as I am certain I can (381 is the magic total), I will start deleting. No point in having work there which is buried so far off the radar that it's no longer found by anyone except random search search engines using my user name and the name of the site. At a cent a day it will take me YEARS to make it to cashout, so I'm prepared to bury the money and put in some hours on sites which will pay in order to make my loss up. With luck once I organise the reviews on my blog, the AdSense will kick in there and that's all mine. Not that I need to worry just yet, mind. That's at pennies too, right now. But at least it's MY pennies.

WordChazer wrote on January 5, 2015, 3:49 PM

Ah. Thanks Patty. I was wondering if that was the case. I'll be taking a closer look in the next few weeks as I hate to let this drag on for fear of losing work, as you say.

Feisty56 wrote on January 5, 2015, 6:26 PM

I think efforts to derail the site by disgruntled members there is over the top myself, but I can understand the anger and disappointment that drives them.

LeaPea2417 wrote on January 5, 2015, 7:52 PM

I am so close to hitting 50 at that site. I just hope when I do, that I get paid , then it can hit rock bottom and fail. I just want the payment I have been working 5 months for.

acrogodess914 wrote on January 5, 2015, 9:10 PM

People will do what they feel they need to. Ultimately, it is the internet. People who are shady in their dealings online, are just as shady in person. I'm glad that you won't stoop to that level. You are a classy woman.

WesleyMesser wrote on January 5, 2015, 10:59 PM

I seem to be a rare breed that I'm actually not owed any money by the B-Site, not bragging but I know I'm a rarity considering those I know like yourself and others who are owed money.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:28 AM

I agree although I do hold on to anger for longer than I should. The new post made me madder but I think they will continue. It appears that the people who wanted to leave did and now there is a core of people staying and helping to rebuild. I really wonder if he would dare do again what he did, take money from people. I just can't stay even though I like some of the people there very much.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:29 AM

I deleted a bunch of posts but I am not rushing to leave. I am not writing though at all and will not. I am watching the spin that the beloved CEO is putting on the situation now and it looks like he is back to his ole lying self. lol

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:31 AM

I don't think Arvind is nice. He lied to me many timesvin email. PROMISES that he knew he was going to break. He treated me like I was a pain in the butt and he was rude. I think he is a kid who needs a lesson in humility. His arrogance is galling.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:32 AM

Yeah $650 in total. Up until the announcement he was still promising to pay me the back amount he owed me. Never trust him. Stay if you want but always know his is not a man who keeps his word.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:33 AM

I have $25 in my bank that will end up in his pocket because I am not writing. I almost want to get to $50 to redeem but it would take years at the rate they pay now, whatever that is.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:34 AM

It looks like things are dying down. People who wanted to leave already did and the really angry people haven't done anything yet. The site is moving forward. To where, I have NO idea.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:36 AM

I moved on and have $58 due to come pretty soon. They took $50 out of that redemption. I have $25 in my bank and it will stay that way. The days of passive income are long gone there.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:38 AM

People ask me why I stayed after the first missed redemption. It was because I believed him and I liked the site. After the 5th missed one, people said I was crazy to stay but again, he swore to me many times that I would be paid in full. I was attached to the people there. Now 11 unpaid redemptions later and $50 out of my bank, I feel good about leaving although I truly do care about some of the people there. I have found most here or at CGP though.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:41 AM

I always knew that the B site would collapse or at least end up lowering pay by a lot. No way can any site pay out as much as they did for too long. They must have had to take out a loan or something because it didn't make any sense to pay what they were. Now though, the rates are so low that it's crazy. They're lower than any site I have ever written for!

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:43 AM

I made a lot too. I really worked hard on my posts though for the first year and half I was there. After that, I realized they wanted crap so I started to write less informative stuff. It was hard to convert from a writer to a....blogger (?) but I did. I still don't love just writing about myself. I prefer talking about current events and pop culture.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:45 AM

I don't think anyone invested in them. They probably got a loan. I have no idea how they will pay going forward but the rates are so low that they should be able to keep up. They should lower the redemption to $20.00 though because it takes ages to make a cent there now.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:46 AM

Me too. I am deleting many posts and checking in to see what is happening but I can't write anymore. I may read what some of my friends are saying who stayed but I feel I need to move on and have.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:48 AM

It's been CRAZY but I think they are deleting the really bad stuff now. There is a new post by the holy one talking about the fun stuff coming in the next few months. Just as if he didn't screw thousands of people out of many thousands of dollars a week ago.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:51 AM

Absolutely. I didn't write fluff too often because of that. I would read a barely readable post about someone's breakfast and think, "They PAY for this? And pay THAT much?" I knew the site was paying out more than they took in. Anyone who knows the net knew that. I just wondered when the inevitable would happen. It ticks me off that I was screwed and many people were getting paid while he was skipping my redemptions but I still made good money. Some of my posts were worth it, many were not.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:53 AM

Yup and there are lots of people still there. I don't know if it is loyalty to the owners or friendships made that keeps them there. I hope it isn't loyalty because they will get screwed again.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:56 AM

I think this site has real potential. It has been here quite a while and gone through some tough times but the owners were honest about it. There are other sites and I am on a couple but they don't feel as ....comfortable as this one. The pay isn't great but it is now better than at Bubblews. lol. Who would have thunk it? I think the site will continue but will see a sharp downturn in new sign ups and of course will lose a lot of members. They probably want to get rid of old members because the new ones have no idea how good it used to be.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 3:59 AM

I am also deleting. You can delete by going to your top 100 sites. Delete some or all and new ones will fill the spaces (New meaning older ones). Get rid of some and more will show up. I have most of mine copied but want to delete my stuff off the site completely.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 4:00 AM

I TOTALLY understand how they feel. I wouldn't cry if I went to the site and it was closed down. But I also won't be a part of trying to make it happen. Whatever. I moved on, am deleting my stuff and hoping that Karma hits those SOBs where it hurts.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 4:02 AM

I don't think they will succeed in taking the site down because they can't communicate effectively with one another to plot. But yep, so far everything is blamed on scammers, spammers and the people who benefited from them. Not the fact that they knew they could never pay what they were paying ad they selectively didn't pay people and did other things to keep the pay rate down before they FINALLY had to give in and steal people money back.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 4:04 AM

I wonder of people will get paid now in a timely manner, I redeemed on December 2 and will see how that goes. they took $50 out of that redemption but I still have some coming. Maybe...

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 4:05 AM

Nah. I know some people are willing to give these people another chance. I am done but maybe the remaining people will end up benefiting from less members and a smaller amount of people to pay. But the pay rate now is amazingly pitiful. Ugh.

PattyTherre wrote on January 6, 2015, 4:07 AM

I should have left a year ago. I stayed because I believed I would eventually get paid and because I liked the people there. I still do. I still read some people who I can't find at the other sites I am on. But I won't write. They pay about 1 cent per 20 likes now. And I won't contribute to helping them rebuild off my posts.

PineMartens wrote on January 6, 2015, 5:29 AM

There's just no way I'm giving him another $29 without a fight. I've already reported them to BBB. They just can't be bothered going through each payment to remove the fraudulent earnings.

Hollyhocks100 wrote on January 6, 2015, 6:20 AM

I haven´t seen that and went looking this morning. The uncertainty of what when and how payments will be made in the future is doing my head in, I need proper clarification to stay there.

wolfgirl569 wrote on January 6, 2015, 9:59 AM

I seen that post by him. I am still checking in and writing one here and there to see if I get my pending one that they heavily reduced. If it wasnt for that all my stuff would be deleted already because they canceled out over 300 of mine.

BarbRad wrote on January 6, 2015, 1:58 PM

Although I believe the site is almost gone and I am not longer posting, I have not yet deleted my account because what views, likes, and comments I have given people would probably be taken away with me and make it even harder for my remaining friends there to be able to redeem. I don't want to hurt them. I hope the B site will be able to pay those friends of mine and will do so if they can. It's a pain to delete posts one by one when deleting my account would be much easier, but I want to remain loyal to my friends.

After reading the comments here, I guess I don't have very much to add. I, too, have no sympathy for the owner. The simple fact is he lied and cheated people, and I didn't care to be associated with the site any longer. I have been gradually deleting my posts, too.

I would not demand the destruction of the site there as many good writers are still there and a change of leadership / ownership etc could save it yet

I had trust in this site for a very long time, as they had always paid me what they owed.. But since the cut in earnings and all the lies told, I am on there very rarely, if at all.

Thanks for that tip, Patty. I intend to follow that to the letter, and in time no doubt all my missing articles will show up. Starting tonight. I have been off the site since Monday, was it, and no money has been earned. We spent more on a meal last night than the site owes me so I don't think it's worth it any more, regrettably. I'll start removing my reviews first as they can go on the blog. Interesting times to see how the blog does as a result.

I agree entirely. I don't particularly want the site to survive because I hate to think that they could make a profit at other people's expense. But sabotaging the site is definitely not acceptable.

I agree with you completely. They owe me money also and I have started removing posts...which I should probably do more of if in fact they fail completely and disappear. But I would go no further.

The redeemed amount 225$ of mine gone in the wind. I still keep in touch with the site. But, I don't find any assurance for payment in future. If they can't fulfill the promises they should alter the payment terms. After waiting for three months, suddenly redeemed amount squeezed to the minimum most.

Personally, I think they are bankrupt. And they are hanging on by their teeth. They are probably paying themselves first and giving the others what is left over. Just an opinion, I don't know if it is fact or not. I will go back to see friends but I will not write posts there any more.

I have given up writing posts over there. There is around $15 left in my bank and they can keep it. If I did carry on posting, it would probably take me all year to get to redemption again.

Bad thing is, the loyal members received a lot of frustrations from them, but most of the true spammers received payments. Something I don't know if I will laugh about or become irritated more.

It is really such a tragedy that things went wrong. I am not sure whether they can still overcome this challenge when everybody left the sinking boat.

I've got other writing friends who were on the site and I have no sympathy whatsoever; they deserve whatevers coming to them. I've written on sites for years and ws really glad that I didn't get involved with that site as the way they treated members was appalling.
