The Hobbit - Battle of the five armies Review

My husband Aaron, My son Isaac and I went out to dinner and then to the Regal Cinemas to see the movie The the battle of five armies and it was awesome. The movie was in 3d and it really made me feel like I was in the movie along side the Elves, Dwarves , Humans and the Orks which made it really exciting! In the movie the dragon called "Smaug" gets killed with a black spear to the heart in the beginning of the movie and then the rest of the movie is about King Thorin getting the "dragon sickness" and valuing gold over the lives of the people in his kingdom. He barricades himself in the castle with a few elves to prevent anyone from finding the precious stone of power the Arkenstone . The whole time Bilbo Baggins had the stone in his possession and later gave it to the elves. It is a must see movie! It lasted 2 and a half hours but it only seemed like we were there for an hour, I didn't want it to end.

I actually didn't like it as well as the other two... I don't know why, exactly. Maybe it seemed too HD? It made everything look fake? Not sure exactly what it was.

THat sucks, I loved it and so did my husband and my son, but my oldest son Darren wasn't crazy about it either! He said all they did was fight the whole time which is true!

I have to see it. I've always been such a Hobbit and Lord of the Rings fan! I read them all thrice to myself and then again out loud to three other people, way back when. But I still don't understand why Tom Bombadil didn't figure in to any of the movies...

I'm in love with all the movies and I have the books at home but I never read them yet! I don't even know who Tom Bombadil is, lol! I know the main characters like Aragon and Bilbo Baggins. :)

Oh, read them all! They are wonderful!

Really? I just don't have the time to read because I'm always blogging. :)

Ah... And those take some really heavy-duty reading. Of course all my times through them were before there was Internet!

Yes, I noticed that some people just aren't into the Lord of the Rings Trilogy but that's okay, everyone is different. :)

Tom Bombadil is someone I missed too. He was a huge part of the heart and soul of the journey! (Maybe not enough fighting around him?)
