Introduction for saxguy

Hi, I'm John Temmerman, saxguy was the name I used on Epinions, Viewpoints and other sites. I'm a 59 year old jazz musician and teacher, with a couple of CDs available on Itunes and other legal download sites. I play and teach all saxophones and all clarinets. I was an auditor and corporate controller for many years and retired from the day job in 2010 to care for my disabled wife full time. I'll write on an eclectic mix of topics, including music, music education, technology products and services, social media (twitter and facebook) politics, business, pop culture, caregiving and disability issues and lots of other things.

Welcome to Persona Paper! We share an interest in education and disability issues. Although I personally don't play an instrument, sax is one of my favourites to listen to. I have two daughters who are musicians. One is a percussionist (mostly snare drum in a pipes & drums band, these days.) The other plays clarinet and bagpipes emoticon
