People who are not important think they are very important
In life, we have many important persons.
These are our parents, grandparents, children, spouse, friends, colleagues, bosses, and other respectable persons. Among this group, there will be some who are really important, and some not so important.
However, there are as many or more people who are just not important to us as our loved ones.
Those who are not important to us sometimes think that they are very important.
They are the ones with a lot of comments on whatever we do.
When one of my aunts comes to know about my stock trading account, she says that her daughter does not have an account, because her daughter does not gamble.
In the end, she discovers that her daughter did have a stock trading account, and her daughter had lost a few thousand dollars chasing hot stocks.
Whenever I meet my aunt, I will rub it in by telling her how much I have earned from my investment.

Her daughter refuses to learn, and yet she is greedy. I read and learn about investment, that is why I make money.

The best revenge would be not to say anything to your aunt, just buy her a present and tell her you were feeling lucky!

Good idea. If she remarks about the price of the gift, I just say: It's nothing, I make a lot of money from investment.

LOL, that's it. I would love to be a fly on the wall when you say it!

In the strict sense of the word, to engage in the stock market is not gambling. But, and in all honesty, it does bear some similarities. I don't have the money to invest in the market, but if I did, it would still be the last place I would put my money. But that's my choice. Others have their choice.

I do not trade stock. I invest in stock. That's why I make money.

I like what MegL suggested! Left to me, I would avoid the aunt but hey, always treat your enemy with kindness : p
