Diary – Friday 2nd January 2015

My first true entry on the Persona pages, and it’s the kind of daily diary page I was until recently writing for Bubblews. As with many writers there, I was shocked on New Year ’s Day by their announced decision to withhold promised payments to all authors due to alleged click-fraud by some contributors and to patch over lost income on their office files.

As with many writers I am looking at alternatives to what was a reliable revenue generating site for over a year.

My Friday was dominated by getting back into job searching, applying to become a Persona writer, and preparing my novel for sending to a literary agent. I also started working out a track list for my next community radio show, to be aired live tomorrow.

The day that started with having to greatly reduce (though not totally abandoning) another writing site in some sadness ended on a very positive note as a leading local theatre provisionally accepted a radio script I wrote which they’d like to develop with me.

I look forward to writing on Persona, and meeting / reading / interacting with many new exciting new writers, as well as re-acquainting with many other Bubblews refugees pouring into here just now.

Welcome to the great Bubblews exodus! There are many ex-Bubblers on Persona Paper who have ended up here because of the terrible conditions over at Bubblews. You will find there are few is any spammers on this platform so that means this site is more viable in the long run. We welcome your writing skills to our cozy little club on Persona Paper.

I am from bubblews too, got fed up that my $220 bucks are gone into the drain with their excuses. Hope that Persona paper can help me to earn and get paid.

I hope you will find Persona a better alternative like I and probably most former Bubblers do.

Hi Arthur. It's nice to meet some real writers here instead of the people who write unintelligible junk at some other sites.

Yes welcome to PP. This looks like a great site. No get rich quick opportunities but lots of nice people to interact with and a sense of a site with owners who are realistic, honest and have a plan!

I do have Bubbpews account but not that active because of the negative impressions that I received before.

Congratulations on your script being accepted ,what else to say about bubbles? I could forgive non payment through failure as it happens but deceit to whole nations is bad.

I am sure you will find Persona-P will be rewarding for you and just as much as Bubblews. The difference here is that this site appears ot be organised and more truthful.

Hi Welcome. I am a fellow bubblews member and it scares me that the owners of the company behave the way that they do. I am trying to build something here on Personna Paper because this is the site that I may eventually switch to for good if things keep going down hill on bubblews.

Hello once again. Congrats on the provisional acceptance of the script and best of luck with the novel. Hope this site works out for you. I plan to continue my journal entries at Bubblews (at least for the moment), but everything else I think I'll do here.

I only briefly dabbled in Bubblews so don't really consider myself among the refugees. But this site is very intriguing and I look forward to more good and entertaining posts like those I have already sampled.
