Would you quit your job if you won the lottery?

Would you ever contemplate quitting your daily job if you received news that you have won the lottery and the price money is a multi-million dollar affair?
Well, personally, I love my job. I find it fulfilling and worthwhile. But the thought of winning the lottery and getting all that money may tempt me to quit my job. If the prize money is over 5 million dollars, then I would readily quit and focus my energies on investing that money.

On the other hand, quitting may not be a good idea if you plan to live off the lottery money without putting it to good use. You might end up like the guy in the picture up there, sawing through the branch he is sitting on.
What about you? Would you quit?

I have been working for 15 years now. I love my job though it's not that high-paying. I may not quit even if I will multi-million dollar jackpot in lotto.

On the first months of my lotto jackpot, I will not quit yet. I don't want to announce my winnings to the public.

I would probably be my own boss. So technically I would still work but I would have more freedom of how much I want to work and wouldn't have to rely on others.

I think I would quit, yes. But I would first invest my winnings and put my affairs in order beforehand. I'd also request not to be paid for my job, no need to be greedy if I had lottery winnings sat in my bank haha

Yes and no. I would still do my art and book writing, but I would quit everything else. I would spend my time doing more pet rescue.

I don't have a job. I have a home business with inventory that I have had to shut down for two months because of my surgery. If I won a large sum of money I could afford to donate the inventory to someone who might need it and hire someone to cart it away so I could retire and just write and spend more time with people. I would then pay off my debts and invest the rest as best I could.
