I am Thankful I Quit Smoking

Why I am Thankful I quit Smoking

I had been trying to kick smoking for over 6 or 7 years but all my attempts would be futile as i would find myself back in the fray in one or two days.

The benefits of not smoking are just great.

I no longer wake up with a splitting headache that demanded I take two or three cigarettes for it to stop.

I am no longer edgy when I am in a crowded area and can't light a cigarette.

I no longer have to worry about sputum as used to be the case when I was smoking.

I feel a major improvement in my health and have even put on some weight.

My hair is definitely healthier and my scalp is not dry.

No more coughing like a tuk tuk from India.

There are just so many reasons why I am glad I quit smoking and I am thankful that I kicked the addiction.

Very funny the comparison with that tuk-tuk from India. emoticon  Congrats. I'm sure you feel better after quitting smoking.

Congratulations! Must have been tough, but it's nothing compared to the benefits you will receive day after day after day.

A very serious post, but I did chuckle at the coughing like a tuk-tuk! :)
