What Our Day Looks Like

This is what our day looks like dreary, cold and rainy. The temperatures is 37 and feels like 31 the weather says on my phone. At least there is no heavy build up on roadway. We haven't gone anywhere so don't know about bridges and overpasses. Probably was during night since temperatures here at the lake were below freezing.

This is why we have a roaring fireplace.

It is so dark and has been all day cannot seem to get enough light in this house even with the Christmas tree still up and lights shining brightly on it.

According to the weather the next few days will not be rainy. So we can get out more if need be. We are trying not to catch cold or the flu which is going around.

My daughter and her family are down with a terrible strain of the flu. They all have been so sick for 6 days. One of the children had to go to the ER with too high a fever. That is so scary. She is much better now. But this kind of strain is so dangerous.

The winter months are so bad for illnesses. Wrapping up and staying warm while outdoors is good and not going out with a wet head. Staying in as much as possible is good too. It seems doctors offices and grocery stores is a great place to catch the latest illness going around.

Frequent washing of hands helps to prevent catching something too. Double up on Vitamin C whether in pill form or food.

I hope all of you are well and can stay that way. So far we are.

Hi, we are the total opposite extreme heat with bush fires. My daughter in Adelaide has an out of control bush fire about 15 mins away from her home. I would like to swap your weather with hers. Stay warm.

Vitamin D is also important to the immune system. We also take a few herbal supplements to stay well. I'm doing a good job at staying isolated, since I can't go anywhere in a car but medical appointments.

We have very cold days. It snowed the day after Christmas and since that day our temperature is around 23.

It got up in the 50's here at the lake. Yesterday and day before in the 20's and 30's with some ice and wintry mix. Amazing.

Ooopppss! I think health safety must always be the number one priority in any country. I hope your grandchild is okay now. I got sick also because of the cold weather but our cold weather is nothing compare to your snowing one. God bless and always pray and claim your health from Christ.

Getting plenty of fresh air, washing hands and staying away from crowded places are definitely the best ways to avoid colds and flu.
