Horns - A Movie Review

Horns - A Movie Review

What goes through the mind of someone who has lost everything?

Ig Perrish has just lost the love of his life. His girlfriend Merrin was killed and raped and he is the main suspect. He is coping with her loss and trying to make people look into her murder case to find the real killer but he has been unsuccessful so far. Even his family seems to think he did it.

Deeply depressed, and after one night of drinking he wakes up to find he has started to grow horns.

Yeah, just like the devil.

And even more, people around him, while noticing this odd fact soon forget it, it doesn't stick to their conciousness. On the other hand, it has a funny effect on people, who start disclosing their deepest, wrongest feelings and desires.

This is a must see, because:

1. Harry Potter is gone for good. Daniel Radcliffe plays this character amazingly.

2. It surprises you. It made me wonder how awful the world would be if people really said what they meant and did what they wanted.

3. The satire and the irony are unique. The religious undertones and topics are not shallow. It is a film that makes you think, as well as it makes you laugh.

The movie was (lightly) based in Joe Hill's novel by the same name.

Hi, sounds like an interesting movie. I do like murder mysteries. When one series finishes there is usually a new one just around the corner. Have a great day.

Thanks for your comment, It is an intersting movie and the final is a little predictable but you just notice close to the end.
