2015 Goals

Hey, y'all. I hope everyone is having a great last day of the year. I've been busy. I did a video of some of my favorite photos of the year and put it up on Youtube, posted my last blog update to our hiking blog, went and paid for my new insurance and caught up with everything online. I also did some laundry. Busy day for me.

Do y'all make goals for upcoming years? I don't really do resolutions, but I do make goals I can strive toward. The graphic depicts a major goal I'm going to try and achieve. I joined a Facebook group with a friend and the whole group is doing it so that should be fun. Here are my goals for 2015:

1. Help otherwise whenever I can

2. Write at least one fiction piece a month

3. Eat healthier

4. Do a 5k walk or two

5. Make more time for creative pursuits

6. Take more photos

7. Worry less

8. Walk 100 miles by March 31st for the challenge

9. Post more here at PP

10. Pay off some doctor bills

Some practical goals and some health goals thrown in with some stuff just for fun. I hope 2015 is a great year for all of us. Happy New Year, y'all.

I'm going to try. I've been exercising some, but not as much as I need to so the challenge will be good for me.

Yep, I will keep y'all updated as the year goes along. You'll see my photos most likely anyway, but the others I'll write about too.

I don't do resolutions either and I tend to do very concrete goals for example, "post a minimum of 3 posts per week on Persona Paper". I find that if I don't be specific, I'm less likely to reach the goal or be satisfied with the result. I'll probably be posting my goals for the year sometime in the next day or two.

Good luck with them whatever they may be.

I'm like you. I set goals to work toward instead of making resolutions. This year i want to work on my health in a disciplined way by exercising at least four times a week and continuing to eat a healthy diet more of the time. I also would like to find a reasonable way to close my business. That basically means finding a way to unload my inventory.

Good luck with all of your goals. I hope you find a way to achieve them all.

One hundred miles in 90 days sounds like a reasonable challenge; I wish you the best. Happy New Year to you and yours : )

I've been working on some goals, but at the moment, they are still penciled on scrap paper. Nothing even developed enough yet to go in a document on the computer, much less get posts publicly. I hope you do well with yours.

Yeah, I'm hoping to make it even if I have bad days I can't walk. I hope to make them up in time.

Thanks. Good luck with whatever you decide on yours as well.

Great ideas - and challenges are always good, especially when you post about them or include others =) It's easier to stay on track when you have others to keep you motivated and accountable.
