Its My Fathers Birthday Today!

My father; Cecilio Loreto Arriaga Alcoseba; was born on December 11, 1925. He would have been eighty nine years old today if he hadn't died thirty one years ago at the age of fifty-eight. He married my mother; Filomena Vinaloga Alcoseba; on February 12,1952 when he was still twenty-seven years old while my mother was twenty-five. He remained a loyal and a faithful husband to my mother and a very good father to us his four daughters until the time of his death on April 22,1983.

He was a very good and successful professional photographer and sent us through college with his earnings. He sacrificed a lot for the sake of his family.

Happy birthday Papa ...enjoy with Mama!

I remember my father who passed away last Feb 26 1999. Anyway, happy birthday to your dad. Stay focus of what you are doing right noe. Just like me, I am serving my father as my inspiration of my daily task. Good morning.

It must be hard not having had all those years with your Father, but it is a lovely tribute to him you have written and he sounds a very good man.

All of us make mistakes in our lives. But we can not live thinking about that everyday.

i have only warm memories of my father. when i was still a child i used to be very clingy. his friends and our nieghbors gave me a nickname "amitpilit". "pilit" in English means sticky :) :) :)

I am very upset because I never told to my father that I love him. I only said it the night before we put him into the grave. I love you, Papa :)

if you still have your mother ... make sure that you tell her everyday that you love her. shower her with your love while she can still enjoy it. dont wait until the time they put her in her grave to let her know that you love her.

Happy Birthday to him from my side. I know, I am late in telling it, but still, I better to be late than never. I hope he has enjoyed the day.

It is a pity that he did not get to live 20 years more to enjoy the companionship of all his children.

My only wish this Christmas is that I can become a better husband and good father to my son.
