Has anyone seen the new Bubblews look-alike?

I was quite taken aback by the close resemblance between the two sites but after signing up and trying it out, there are a few differences.

This site's name is CGP Gallery. You get paid $0.01 for each view and comment on your posts by other members and you need to accumulate $20 to ask for .

The limit for posts per day is 10 and each post has to be 100 words long.

If you are familiar with how Daily Two cents works then, you will have no trouble writing here. It is time consuming and I am not sure how it will eventually work out but the admins seem to be doing a great job handling spam and plagiarism. There are plenty of familiar faces/names from so it seems most people who are disgruntled with Bubblews are now switching over to this site.

I can't see any follow/notification system but if you decide to join, please let me know here so that we can all follow some good writers.

You will need an account to comment - feel free to register or login.

This is exactly what I intend to do. This place is special but we also need a place where we can earn by writing fluff stuff :)

bestwriter wrote on December 10, 2014, 12:56 AM

I go here and there but give up half way. Persona is my second home where I am comfortable.

AngelSharum wrote on December 10, 2014, 1:16 AM

I had never heard of it before. It does look like Bubblews. I wonder if it's the same people starting over and, if it works better, they will close Bubblews and stick with this one. One thing I don't understand is the part where it says if you comment on your on articles they will deduct money. So you write something, someone comments, and you can't answer them back? That part doesn't make sense.

luisga814 wrote on December 10, 2014, 1:33 AM

I don't have an idea yet about that Bubblews look-a-like but hoping so that they are not both look and lie. I have pending redemptions in Bubblews they never pay me. Sad but its true.

motrojam wrote on December 10, 2014, 2:02 AM

Has any one made it to payout there? It looks like a clone of Bubblews and wary of sites like that Chillkey which looks the same.

carmela wrote on December 10, 2014, 3:45 AM

seems like an interesting site but if i write for two sites one will suffer from lack of attention or lack of articles to post cause i am a very slow writer.

marialy18 wrote on December 10, 2014, 5:23 AM

It is also sound interesting.
Let me think if I would surely join.
I am still at Bubblews.

scheng1 wrote on December 10, 2014, 6:53 AM

I wonder how many people have really got paid.

Feisty56 wrote on December 10, 2014, 10:48 AM

I hadn't heard of this new site, but interesting information. Having read through the comments below, AngelSharum 's concern causes me concern. If it's true the site doesn't want writers doing any return comments/interacting with those who comment on their posts, I would personally not be interested.

AliCanary wrote on December 10, 2014, 11:06 AM

Oh, I haven't heard of this one. There is a site called Babblelife that is JUST like Bubblews, including all the spam and ridiculous nonsense posts. It looked like an utter waste of time, but I might check this one out. I'd really like to know if they could be trusted to pay, though. Been burned already on that :/

nbaquero wrote on December 10, 2014, 11:35 AM

dawnwriter it is very similar indeed. I will put it on my list of sites to monitor next to Tsu, I don't like to jump into new sites right aways. Thanks for sharing.

LoudMan wrote on December 10, 2014, 2:45 PM

I'll focus on what I got for now.

Kasman wrote on December 10, 2014, 4:40 PM

AngelSharum Dawnwriter -!! I had a look and wasn't impressed. says they are registered in Queensland, Australia which tells me they are a Far East outfit and reading some of the posts by their admin it is obvious English isn't their first language. They also have a long list of accounts which have been deleted due to violations - could this be where all those spammers who were kicked out of Bubblews have gone? As Feisty says I'm not interested - I'm trying to get away from sites like Bubble Ooze not join another one!

maxeen wrote on December 10, 2014, 5:15 PM

I have just checked it and It seems almost the same site, once bitten twice shy !

AngelSharum wrote on December 10, 2014, 5:47 PM

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. How are you supposed to get to know people and interact if you can't comment back?

Dawnwriter wrote on December 11, 2014, 2:48 AM

I have given up any hope of getting paid by Bubblews so I have decided to just move on and forget about that site.

Dawnwriter wrote on December 11, 2014, 2:55 AM

That's the big question, isn't it? Can we trust such sites anymore?

crowntower wrote on December 11, 2014, 4:00 AM

this is the second time I heard about it here in Persona, but this is the first time that I read that it has resemblance in bubblews. thanks for sharing, I might think about it if I am going to join it or not.

inertia4 wrote on December 11, 2014, 6:33 AM

Dawnwriter The sight is similar in looks. Not bad actually. I will hold this and most likely will join. I like giving new sites a chance. The more the merrier. Nice!!!

inertia4 wrote on December 11, 2014, 7:54 AM

Dawnwriter I actually went there and signed up. I don't know about that site though. I didn't know it was a WordPress site until I registered. I am no fan of WordPress. I doubt I will want to continue there. I did write a post, but I like the format here and on Bubblews much better. I think I will stick with these sites instead.

scheng1 wrote on December 11, 2014, 9:00 AM

I think I will wait a while before joining. I hate to work hard and then find that the site does not pay.

inertia4 wrote on December 11, 2014, 11:35 AM

scheng1 If I were you I wouldn't bother. I signed up, it looks okay, but not that good. I don't think it is worth my time.

luisga814 wrote on December 12, 2014, 2:13 AM

Actually my account in bubblews is still active but not that too active, I am visiting my account there once every two weeks and going to interact only for about five to ten minutes only.

carolscash wrote on December 13, 2014, 8:14 AM

I will check it out later today or tomorrow. I would like to find something where I could earn a little more money faster than Bubblews and here.

BrenndaMarie wrote on December 13, 2014, 7:13 PM

I have never heard of the site but, I will have to look into it.

acrogodess914 wrote on December 14, 2014, 4:35 AM

This is the first that I am hearing of it, but I don't like word press.

Ruby3881 wrote on December 17, 2014, 5:28 AM

I'm rather leery of the site, as it appears to have stolen most of its format and terms of service directly from Bubblews. Further, there is no contact information on the site - you have to use a form - and already some writers there are apparently experiencing payment issues and a drop in revenues. It may simply be a legitimate site that's experiencing some growing pains, but I'd like to see those things addressed....

FreyaYuki wrote on December 18, 2014, 1:26 AM

Never heard of this site. Will look into it more when I have more time. Has anyone been paid there yet just to know if it's a scam or not?

simplysara wrote on December 19, 2014, 4:03 PM

Thanks for the heads up! I thought Bubblews was great in the beginning, but we all know that is going if there's something like it, I'm open to try it out. I thought Persona Paper was the new Bubblews?

Glenn wrote on December 22, 2014, 5:53 PM

I'm done with checking out new writing platforms. I have never missed a payment from Bubblews until they ran out of money. Now I wonder if I will ever get my last redemption, especially after Arvind posted that they paid out more money than they have. I'm also on Tsu, but that is more a social site than a writing site for articles, and I use it for that purpose. HubPages is the best and the only one that is run professionally. I get decent monthly revenue from them. So there's no need to try another.

Randajad_The_Traveller wrote on December 28, 2014, 9:22 AM

Its using wordpress, and I dont like wordpress I also got annoyed that they want our ID.

nbaquero wrote on December 30, 2014, 7:38 AM

Dawnwriter they have recently changed their homepage a little bit, it doesn't look like an exact copy of the B site anymore. Not sure their functionality, payments, earning, etc.

Dawnwriter wrote on January 4, 2015, 3:48 AM

I have not been able to check out the new look but people there seem very enthusiastic and hopeful after the ceo message.

nbaquero wrote on January 4, 2015, 6:28 AM

DawnWriter OK, when you do, please let us know you feedback. As I said I like to monitor the evolution of that site and EliteVisitors.

CountryWine wrote on January 13, 2015, 4:29 AM

No more writing sites! LOL I didn't write on Bubblews for close to a year ago and I removed all my articles from their servers. I started writing again recently but it sure seems dead on there. If Persona really takes off, I am going to like it here better.

JohnRoberts wrote on January 16, 2015, 11:47 AM

Never heard of this one. PayPal or Google Adsence?

Dawnwriter wrote on January 16, 2015, 2:13 PM

#JohnRoberts you earn from views, rates and comments just like Bubblews

valmnz wrote on January 19, 2015, 4:29 AM

I signed up for both CGP and Daily Two Cents, but this is the one I've decided to run with.

HappyLady wrote on February 2, 2015, 8:02 AM

I wrote a couple of posts there and feel it was shades of the past. The comments showed the post had not actually been read. I found a lot of ex Bubblews sub standard writing there and have they not just lowered their payout? I will maybe try a few more posts, but the irony is that the Bubble site is nicer to write on. I prefer it.I am still testing the water here.

HappyLady wrote on February 2, 2015, 8:04 AM

Is that there get out? They can claim not to be the same even if most of the site is copied. Hmmmm I wonder.

HappyLady wrote on February 2, 2015, 8:10 AM

There is a comment on one of Arvinds latest posts where the guy admits to having been cheating with multiple accounts and having plans to cheat further only that was then. Then he complains about the rate of pay and the Bubble site generally. Then he says he writes for CpG gallery. He then asks if he will be able to write for Bubblews! I choked laughing into my tea, but well, we know where one Cheater went!

trufflehunter wrote on February 4, 2015, 7:05 AM

So did you join in the end? I considered it too but three sites are too many for me at the moment. I'd rather work it out here first.

Dawnwriter wrote on February 4, 2015, 7:51 AM

Yes I joined and have earned $20. I have requested payment but will have to wait till end Feb to receive it. Only then I will truly trust and recommend it.

trufflehunter wrote on February 4, 2015, 8:33 AM

Oh, good on you for earning $20. I really hope you get it!

Nar2Reviews wrote on February 4, 2015, 11:14 PM

I signed up only yesterday but as with all things including being here, time constraints mean I may not be able to post as much as I would like. Im not a fan of the Wordpress format so perhaps CGP Gallery may not be for me, after all. I'll give it a chance and see what it is like.

MStarDutchess wrote on February 6, 2015, 7:07 AM

I'm about fed up with Bubblews. Recently wrote two articles on Bubble and got one cent for them.
